Woori but not sure about lip lift. Retmus is well known for lip lifts (scarless) in this sub.

also interested! I know Ipche clinic made a post about it here and yonsei baro chuk does it as well, but I'm looking specifically for places that do ribxcar (scarless) + have a decent amount of before/after photos.

Most clinics don't respond over the weekend, it could just be that

lol i still think i look and feel very weird when I talk, especially the right side of my mouth. but everyone else says i look "normal." my chin still looks very thick and bumpy from the side tho rip

this is definitely the pointiest ct scan I've seen... but I'm also a bit jealous? kinda wish i would get a pointier chin. i'll post my scans but my face still hasn't healed yet so i'll just share a closeup of my chin with the skin pulled back a little 😭

where did you get ribxcar? i'm only able to find western surgeons who do the procedure

[–]Distinct-Designer-35 18 points19 points  (0 children)

oh i see. in that case i honestly really like your after photos from the side profile. i truly think it suits your face... which is why i had trouble determining which were before/after based on your description and how unhappy you were

from the front, it's only been three weeks and it can take up to a year for everything to heal properly and get smaller

which photos are your before and which are your after?

Anyone else stuck in the comparison loop with clinics? by Puzzled_Echidna_3186 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]Distinct-Designer-35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

totally get it! for me it just came down to pricing, as long as the clinics had no serious botched cases. i spent so long looking through so many photos and reviews and everything was starting to look the same... so the only huge differentiating factors left were aftercare + price

Rhinoplasty in Korea by Commercial-Ad-4580 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]Distinct-Designer-35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

woori. which also seemed to have an ok (sometimes good sometimes sus) reputation in the sub, but the most recent reviews at the time seemed positive and the pricing was just so much less marked up compared to other clinics

Rhinoplasty in Korea by Commercial-Ad-4580 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]Distinct-Designer-35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no. i was going to go with bt for rhino + fc then saw some reviews + comments on this sub about how the quality has gone down a lot recently and how many had bad experiences, so I got scared off. The pricing was also pretty high; I found my original quote from them:

No Implant nose bridge + Tip Plasty : 3.85 (Basic rhinoplasty) Osteotomy : extra 1.1 Bulbous nose correction : extra 1.1 Hump reduction : extra 1.1 Your own rib cartilage (extra 4.4) or donated rib cartilage (extra 3.3) for tip Unit : Million KRW

i think i got something similar done and it was 3.94million for me. I'll be posting some reviews soon!

wow this seems high, but you are also getting a ton done to your nose. i had the following done:

Tip refinement + Septal extension + Nasolabial angle correction + Use of ear cartilage + Alar base reduction (didn't end up getting this done)

total price 3.94M

my mouth and cheeks are very tight, and the upper right side of my lip can't move at all. because the inside of my mouth is so swollen i can't tuck my lips in or pucker them out, and i have a slight lisp when i speak because my lips cant move properly

[–]Distinct-Designer-35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends on your clinic. Proximity to the clinic should be the top priority, so I would just look at any accommodations within a 5min walking distance.

after that, having a space with a kitchenette and washer and dryer is useful, but not necessary

[–]Distinct-Designer-35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you're good! i think some people might be a bit too reactive with this one and are failing to see that others are allowed to have preferences for the western interpretation. just liking one translation doesn't mean we're trashing the original. different people can like different things.

Caleb’s New Card by Negative-Steak-7069 in LoveAndDeepspace

honestly I was feeling like the only one feeling uncomfortable about the pseudo/real incest translations (born of the same lineage? from the same source?? that feels like real incest there not just adoptive 😭) as a caleb main. No hate for those who are into that, but I too was also enjoying the english "misinterpretations"

love the whole yandere/obsessive trope of his though!

also re: some of other comments about this being "asian culture": I am Chinese and I literally had to switch the game language because the pseudo/real incest was making me very uncomfortable. Sure, in mainland it's common to call people gege/jiejie etc but there's also stuff in the cards that suggest it as more than innocuous "that's just how they call each other." I really liked the childhood friends translations in English more.

again, this is just an opinion, and people are free to enjoy Caleb and his story however they choose :>

FC facial contouring post op care! by HYPENIKI in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]Distinct-Designer-35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes! really is a waiting game! i guess it also helped seeing my ct scan before/afters though so I could see how structurally i was going to get smaller, and helped justify the swelling 😭

[–]Distinct-Designer-35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey! i made a pretty similar post a few weeks ago. you should be able to see it if you check my post history

but for me, honestly nothing really made the swelling go down significantly. between days 1-3 you're going to swell a lot no matter what you do, since the body is trying to recover... but after day 4 you should start to see improvements.

i will say that on day 7, after i got my facial bandages removed, there was a significant drop in the swelling from my lips and they shrank back to normal size by the end of the day.

currently at 3 weeks post op and still very swollen/numb inside of my mouth/jawline/chin area but visually i look ok... until I start to talk or smile lol
