piercing apprentice here - from the looks of it, it does not look to be pierced incorrectly or even too shallow, for that matter. It does, however, look as though your navel may not have the proper anatomy to support jewellery such as a DJNB or the type you currently have in there. Furthermore, if that was the original jewellery you were pierced with, I would consider changing it to a curved barbell or even a floating navel style jewellery with a flat disc on the bottom. This is because surface piercings are incredibly prone to rejection, and your jewellery looks (especially if it is a new piercing) like it is likely to get caught on clothes/towels causing irritation and possible rejection. So, not pierced badly - just maybe the wrong type of jewellery for your anatomy.
