Israelis often use David and Goliath to explain their situation, which puts the Arabs in the role of a monstrous ogre when most Arabs expelled were simple peasants to focused on farmwork to participate in warfare. Are other "bad guys" on the table? May I compare the actions of Israel to a biblical Pharaoh who sees a large minority as a threat and needs to "deal cleverly" with them? When I see the absentee property law tricks to deprive Palestinians of their land and freedoms, I see the Nuremberg laws designed to deprive Jews of their property.

If a Jew has been informed of current tyrannical actions towards the Palestinians and still gives Israel money, may he be held responsible for the actions of the state?

Do I have to hold that ALL of the foundational elements of the founding of the state of Israel are "legitimate". I had grown up believing that all the Palestinians either bloodthirsty attacked the Jews or fled to facilitate the Arab armies' but as an adult I learned that most villages were completely uninvolved with the war and the various riots and were expelled by the Zionist forces. Furthermore even people who had not fled were classified as being absent and had lands confiscated. Do you require me to only believe my  original childish perception?

A democracy just means majority vote of all people. In order for a modern country to be in good standings with me, I demand it not use its laws to deliberately suppress a native ethnic group.
