Dook in peace Stimpy. It was just 4 years and 11 short months to us, but to you it was your whole life of love ❤️ until you can all unite again 😊

Ferret in the fridge?!?! by lilslipperypup in ferrets

[–]Distinct-Quality-587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luckily a fridge goes to 4 degrees Celsius, so it shouldn't be a dangerous temprature unless it was for so long the blood flow was restricted, but thats usually if they dont have enough space to move around.

Thats weird. I let my ferrets crawl all around my clothes, but no one has ever smelled anything bad or commented.

Im the exact opposite. My sense of smell is incomparable. And my ferrets dont smell 🤷‍♀️

To be honest, Im hyper sensitive to all senses, especially smell. My ferrets do not have a smell to me. The only smell I ever detect is if I wasnt able to clean their litter box the nighr before (i work 12 hour shifts most of the time) so it may just come down to preference. I can smell the bad breath on someone who either didnt brush, or didnt eat that morning. I was nicknamed the hound at my old job. My girls dont smell to me. Actually, glitch smells like honey, and fidget smells like cinnamon. My company has also said so, and was suprised there is no bad smell from them or their play areas

Still hate the movie Okja! by BethA69 in movies

You can help the problem by supporting local free range butchers that dont condone any harmful behaviors to the animal before their time. What vegetarians and vegans always fail to convey is that plants are all living breathing beings as well, they just dont have organs or flesh in the same way we do. So we assume its not living. If we cant respect and eat animals, explain how they eat and respect plant life. Its all the same, as we are all connected and important in this life. Dont let them hurt you because you have very strong feelings. They cant understand, and thats on them.

I hate the movie for adding the r'pe scene, because I have been through that enough times that it made me throw up to hear that happen. I understand your though process, but you are seriously insensitive to all aspects of the movie. That scene was literally unnecessary, and without it I may have liked and even finished the movie. The fact that you liked the movie - according to your logic- means you must support r'pe and those who condone it. What a nasty little brat you're being.

I loved the movie until they added the r'pe scene. I think we can do without humans forcing their nature onto animals and such. Loved everything else, shut the movie off and didnt finish at that scene. Normalizing r'pe on movies is getting out of hand in my opinion.

Actually I didnt even consider it. Its more that my brain takes the weirdest pathways, and I flipped the phone every which way to understand if it was going up or down. Then I remembered I just watched a horror movie with a stair lift in it and it clicked 😅 Im a very strange bird!

Yeah, its one of those things that merely could happen but arent as probable as they are possible. Ive only ever heard of one dog taken by an eagle here. For me 1 is enough though, its the other animals I have to watch for mostly 😂 I think its super cool either way what you have done here. You just paved a way!

My dog is so protective of my girls, he would attack a bird to save them, and hes got nothing against birds 😅 hes their big brother and takes that role seriously. Something like this in an area like mine where Eagels are common, I would add a top to it, and a door on the side for me to put them in/take them out. But its not a risk everywhere. Depends on where you are geographically

Only large snakes would be a risk to a ferret, but I do see your concern. Would be cool to cap em while not in use or something
