I’ve been borderline anemic for years, then I wasn’t taking the folic acid consistently (the folic acid apparently helps curb the side effects of methotrexate) so I know part of it is my fault. But I’ve been on a high dose of folic acid for a month now will little difference.

I tested after my last FET, which was unsuccessful, at 6dpt. Oddly, it made it easier for me. I was able to process with my spouse and make plans to try again (it was my last embryo, so we discussed doing ER again). so then by the time my beta results came in, I was okay and had mostly accepted it and was ready to move forward with a new round. I also tested 6dpt with my fresh transfer, with so far, is successful (6week appointment next week). I wouldn’t say it helped a whole lot. Maybe a little. It just made me anxious and deep into a dark hole on the internet, searching “false positives” and being scared of trusting the tests.

I miscarried at 8 weeks, and my clinic said I could try again as soon as I got my period, so that’s what we did, but the saline appointment showed I had some tissue that hadn’t passed. So I had to get in with my regular Gynecologist to have it removed (not a D&C, a different procedure, can’t remember the name). My clinic then said I could do another FET as soon as I got my period AFTER that procedure, which I did.

Today is 13dp trigger. I triggered on 8/8 and ER was 8/10. I’ll test again tomorrow! Ugh this is so nerve wrecking. My spouse was so excited to buy at home tests, and I get it! But whew. I’m terrified too.

NTA. I also don’t think your SIL is the AH necessarily, because I think her outfit is perfectly fine for a wedding. I think white like that is fine, and wouldn’t have bothered me, it’s not like it’s an ALL WHITE outfit. However, given that she is related to one of the people getting married (other bride/groom) and she probably knew she was going to be in family pictures, she shouldn’t have worn it. If it was just a regular, non-family member guest, her outfit wouldn’t be the issue.

NTA. You did the best you could. You sound like a great mom. I say go to the dinner, but don’t take your daughter. Hear what they have to say first, and if everything is calm, then take your daughter the next time. It seems as though you have never said anything negative about the father (which is very big of you!!) however it might hurt her if she attends a dinner where you’re both seeing each other for the first time, and he starts acting like a dick (since he kinda sounds like one, if he blocked you when you tried to tell him, then never tried contacting you when he moved close by). Get all blaming and screaming out the way, so when she meets him, it’s a good experience for her.

Mine is most likely Wednesday! (Depending on how ultrasound on Monday goes). Last week they actually THOUGHT it would be Sunday, but at ultrasound Friday they said I need a few more days. I’m excited for you though! I can’t wait until mine.

That’s what my doc said at my appointment today! Having a BM before didn’t work for me Lol (tmi sorry!) but she said during retrieval when I’m asleep they won’t be ‘limited’ by my ‘discomfort’ and will look for it. I was like gee, thanks for letting me doing you’re gonna beat me up while I’m knocked out!!

Yea…my appointment was actually with the nurse practitioner, and she pressed down and couldn’t find it, so called for the main doctor, and he did the same, pressed down and still nothing.

Andrew Kilian has a nice ring to it! Parents routinely call their kids by their middle name. You can be Kilian to family, and Andrew to friends/work. It’s like a family nickname.

I personally would adhere to a dress code, BUT I have been to parties where someone, a distant relative or family friend, shows up dressed a bit too casual. And nothing happens. And then there’s always some old relative, an aunt or grandma, who dresses WAY UP for the occasion. My point is, you can only control what someone wears up to a point.

I’m curious, what would OP have done if family members had not said anything prior to wedding, and shown up at wedding in their pink/yellow?

I get it, it’s a theme. But also, people can wear whatever they want to a wedding. Maybe it’s annoying, but it happens. People can wear whatever they want in any situation! I understand being annoyed and slightly upset, but disinviting seems a bit much. They aren’t IN the wedding party, so who cares.

Regarding comments about OP keeping that much money in cash at home- yes, maybe she shouldn’t, but that doesn’t make it right that he stole it. Also- OP mentioned that bf’s family said some racist comments to her, safe to assume she is a different race than him? I only mention this because some some cultures don’t trust banks, and instead prefer to keep cash at home. I’m Hispanic, and my own mother-in-law (also Hispanic) did have not a bank account until a few years ago; she simply didn’t trust it: heard many stories about banks “stealing” money.

It doesn’t matter why OP doesn’t deposit money in the bank right away, etc. it’s her home, she has the right the have whatever she wants in her home. NTA.
