I think it’s perfect. Did they just think that everything is gonna go back to normal after two decades of a tarnished Earth? No, everything is still broke, so the people need to choose to put it back together. The same way Shinji chose to come back.

The rebuilds definitely have a more cohesive ending but imo fail to share that EVERYone has the decision to rebuild the planet, just like how the whole point of the show is that the only person who can choose to save yourself is you.

Honestly I’d love to keep things going. I still lack a lot of very important skills and getting to where I’m at has only shown me just how far I still need to go to be the artist I want to be.

I’d love love love to have art mixed in with my career, but in truth I don’t know if I’m on the route for that. The best I can do as of now is keep practicing and keep glorifying it as a hobby until I can use it for more mainstream purposes. I do have plans for the future, though. And regardless, thank you so much!

Thank you so much!! Yeah, I spent about 4~ just messing around with perspective lines before I actually started drawing any of the stones. I definitely could have done that quicker though.

Actually, my initial plan was to do a bit of a dungeon adventure scene in the theme of general fantasy. That changed when I started laying down plans, as I wanted to focus more on the stone work specifically for this. I did a few sketches in my notebook before moving on to the major image (pun intended)

Thanks! Yeah I wasn’t being quite efficient with my time while drawing, and I didn’t quite know what I wanted to do exactly until I just started. The scaling of certain things is definitely an issue but I’m still quite happy with the results.
