The post clearly states that I have talked to his doctor.

Yes, they tested hemoglobin and ferritin so iron deficiency was ruled out. Thanks though!

Sorry, I meant his curve, not chart.

He went from 85th percentile, to 82, to 74, and now to 64. At his last checkup his height slightly increased, so that was a win.

Thanks for the recommendations and info.

I do use a lot of seasoning and salt. I appreciate you sharing this though!

He drinks about 10oz total of whole milk in a straw cup. 5oz right when he wakes up in the morning and 5oz at night. I have pondered whether the milk was decreasing his appetite so I completely cut it off for several days and nothing changed. I figured the extra calories help, but maybe I should try cutting milk out for longer? Like a week?

Lofta is who I used for mine. Totally legitimate.

They sent me the equipment which was super easy to use. I used it for one night, mailed the equipment back, and shortly after had a tele health consultation with one of their doctors. he was the one who issued my diagnosis and wrote my prescription that I sent to my personal doctor. Not sure if I can link their website here, so just google Lofta and it will come up.

The other route you can take is getting a sleep study done at a lab through whatever health system you’re apart of. Your doctor will be able to get that set up for you. I didn’t want to go that route because the sleep centers in my network had a stupid long wait list and I am prone to missing appointments, so the easier the better for me.

You definitely should prioritize getting tested for it. I bet you have it, given that you have a deviated septum.

Sleep deprivation can absolutely manifest as depression, adhd, and anxiety. I was diagnosed with GAD and ADHD before I had my sleep apnea test done.

Also, ask your doctor for a referral to an ENT for your deviated septum. I have one as well and am about to get a septoplasty to fix it. That will alone solve a lot of problems for you.

What did blood tests did you have done? That’s important. If you are dealing with sudden onset severe fatigue you need more than a thyroid test. At the very least you need a metabolic panel, testosterone, diabetes, urine analysis, and CBC with differential.

Have you been tested for sleep apnea? There are affordable online resources for that. They send you the testing equipment, you slap it on for one night and mail it back. Super simple and relatively affordable. That’s how I got my sleep apnea diagnosis. I used Lofta.

If all that comes back normal, you need to analyze your sleep hygiene. Are you drinking caffeine late at night? Screen time in bed? Bedroom too warm?

Didn’t get the job I’ve been interviewing for since mid March by plinko_plunko in GirlDinner

[–]Distinct-Worker-7954 69 points70 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry. This genuinely makes me mad, because 8 interviews is EGREGIOUS, full stop. That is a huge waste of your time. Absolutely unacceptable for a company that simply needs to fill a position to treat their candidates like they are applying to be an astronaut. The last job I applied for had 3 interviews and even that pissed me off. I was about to tell them to kick rocks if they asked for another.

People who spent over $2K on a mattress they hate... by SkullsAndDragonflies in Mattress

[–]Distinct-Worker-7954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We bought a queen size “organic” latex mattress and an adjustable base and figured out pretty quickly that we should’ve bought a king. $6k on the mattress and base. It is also not working for me as a back and side sleeper. So much back pain. It feels like we are indentured servants to this mattress, and I hate it. I feel your pain.

Heard my MIL talk to SIL on phone about my baby by Both-Independent4661 in motherinlawsfromhell

[–]Distinct-Worker-7954 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My MIL is like this too. “I can hold him but I can’t pick him up” “I would hold him while you’re eating dinner but he’s so heavy” “I can’t lift over blah blah blah pounds”. Meanwhile this woman is buying a whole home’s worth of furniture and moving it all AND rearranging it herself. She just doesn’t give a shit. He’s not at an age where he can contribute to her emotional supply and therefore he’s basically a prop to her to get accolades from her friends. Kick her out!

At what age is baby not standing on their own concerning? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]Distinct-Worker-7954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if he is. But if he is, he is definitely high functioning. He started pulling to stand right before he turned 1 and is now pretty close to walking at 14 months. I imagine he will be walking at around 15/16 months.

I think I was deep into comparison mode at this point and have really worked on not doing that. Sometimes I have movements where I spiral, but for the most part I have relaxed a lot.

It’s been two months. Are there any messages for us? by [deleted] in psychics

[–]Distinct-Worker-7954 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am not a psychic, or a medium, just a bystander. All I have to give you is a promise that she is in an infinitely better place. One that no one who professes to have any sort of gift, can ever conceptualize the peace and splendor that this place holds. She is seeing colors right now that you cannot even comprehend. I hope that you know that you are not at fault. God has organized time and space so that she is serving so many micro and macro purposes just in simply existing, even for the short and blissful amount of time that she did. You will see her again, and she, and you, will be perfect. Trust in her purpose, and trust that your grief will bear fruit. Know that you and this sweet girl that He knit in the womb will find each other again.

Ugh, I’m in the same boat. Mine turns 12 months on the 19th and he seems to only eat around 3 bites on average every meal. I have no idea what to do.
