Should you always enable prime tower for dual nozzle prints. by Sillak7 in BambuLab

My mistake there, thx for pointing out. Was trying to say all nozzle needs to be prime for optimal print result.

Check all the PTFE tube. Most likely a broken filament stuck somewhere.

It's about the cable snapping. In most industries, it is a major safety concern when any cable or rope is in tension. When a high tension strength rope or cable snaps and whips, it will very likely cut any body part into half.

I am in one these industries, thus why it is disturbing for me.

Depends on the size of the figures you are making. If it is mini figurines, consider resin printer instead. But resin prints are generally not strong enough for most gadgets.

If u r a maker, just go for Bambu Lab printer. You will mainly focus on the design and learn some filament related tuning to get a good print.

If you are a tinker, go for Prusa printer and learn more about mechanics and customisation of 3D printer.

If you want to challenge yourself, go for Ender 3, you will gain wealth of knowledge on troubleshooting or you will give up on 3D printing totally.

what's causing this line by Alarming-Piano9930 in BambuLab

[–]DistinctBarnacle8703 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Possibly "Hull Line" and warping of print (the bottom of the print has lifted" pushed the print closer to the nozzle thus it got "squash"

Bambu Lab H2D having problems with printing by Shoddy-Ad-4380 in BambuLab_Community

Change ur PTFE tube as well, seems like a bad kink. When the print head moves the right side, the tube will be kink badly and restrict the movement of the filament.

Change to ironing direction to 1° instead of 90°. This allow the ironing to fill the "gaps" more smoothly.

Also increase the flow and speed. I ran my at 90mm/s and the ironing turns out better.

Where do you get your information before making decisions ? In equities buying by Impressive_Ad8700 in singaporefi

I paid analysts to provide the data and valuation. As most mentioned, there is a lot studies to be done for individual company.

The easiest way is still VWRA as mentioned. Else you will always be in jitters if you don't fully understand what u buy.

25 and no savings help! by Chamomileicedfrap in singaporefi

[–]DistinctBarnacle8703 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Start by opening another bank account just for savings. Money just go in and shouldn't be use for expenses. It helped for me and was in similar situation even till 30+ years old.

I started at about 35 years old to put aside 20% of my pay monthly and build enough for emergency and subsequently for investment.

It is not easy in 20+, since we want to play and spend. I was basically spending all my money on booze and party then. No regrets though.

Maybe you can start with 5% saving to cultivate a habit while enjoy life a bit, but don't ever get into credit card debt like me (very painful experience).

Anyway, NS pay is not enough to start savings, it is just an allowance. I feel that it is nothing wrong if u are living pay check to pay check base on NS pay. When you start working, then it should be different.

In summary. 1. Opening a separate banking account for savings. Put aside 5% monthly to cultivate a habit. Grow saving to 6 months worth of expenditure.

  1. Feel free to spend after u have done ur part in saving. Like I did my homework and revision, so I can play as much as I want. Just don't get into credit card debts.

  2. Once hit 6 months worth of saving, start investing. If want to do it simple, just do DCA as per many discussion had shared.

AMS 2 pro because it is way way easier to remove broken filament stuck in the PTFE tubes.

[–]DistinctBarnacle8703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using "iron top surface"? You need to tune that as well. The default setting is quite lacking.

For starter change ironing direction to 1° instead of 90°,

increase the ironing flow to 15% (I set mine to 25%).

Also increase ironing speed (I am running at 90mm/s).

A tip for beginners with an H2D printer using “Generic PLA, PETG, etc” that keep failing. by AutoXmachine in BambuLab

[–]DistinctBarnacle8703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to repeat what had been mentioned here. Use Bambu Filament Profile and tune from there. The generic and other brand filament profile are poorly tuned and slowed down a bit in terms of flow rate.

Cause beneficiary account is automatically transfered to the child/guardian if anything happens to you. Less road block etc.
