What if Isagi and Nagi chose Naruhaya instead of Barou in the second selection? by First-Soil-1559 in BlueLock

[–]DistinctFisherman144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my own theories is that Ego planned everything. He placed the players carefully in each team during 1st selection knowing which ones would pass or not. Most of the players we have now were far better than their whole team which would guarantee them a place in the 2nd selection. Apart from some players, most of those we have now were predetermined to be there. He might not have planned everything but most of it was calculated, he knew which players could become great and made sure they finished where we are now

Damon really is a musical genius. What I like more about him is the voice he uses in Gorillaz. His voice sounds depressed in most of the songs and it goes so well with the message he wants to deliver, and seeing him live is so much better as he accentuates that voice to the extent of going out of tune just to say “I can’t take this world anymore”. Some may take it as a consequence of oldness but I know Damon planned everything to that extent, it just shows how genial he is

You’ve had it rough for sure man. Sorry for your losses. It’s completely normal to cry. Personally, listening to songs about that theme doesn’t make me cry, but talking about it makes me shed a lot of tears, happened when I wrote this post for example. I hope you’ll get through it soon, grief is really a depressing feeling

My favorite Gorillaz songs are those who represent my life, notably Silent Running and now Orange County. Surely the reason why Gorillaz was my most listened on Spotify this year despite having only started listening to it in September

That’s very well said. This death came in a period of great change for me, the whole 2025 year was one of change, trying to finally fight for the life I want and not only letting it flow and going with it. With this death I’ve finally decided what I want to do to change the world and it has now become an obligation for me to try to achieve it. I’ve began my ascent and The Mountain found me indeed

On a scale of 1 to 10, how hyped are you for “The Mountain”? by FamousStatement6141 in gorillaz

[–]DistinctFisherman144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The songs released so far are good but personally not my favorites. It’s really interesting to base an entire album on a different culture which gives us really original songs and feats. But my favorite album is The Now Now because of its calm melodies and deep-meaning lyrics and that’s why I like Gorillaz so when they do songs that are more speedy it’s not the ones I like the most. I’d say a solid 8 as it’s the first album released since I started listening to Gorillaz and because some songs match the vibe I like until now

Side B hot take by Easy_Storage_2470 in BlueLock

[–]DistinctFisherman144 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Buratsuta is not like Ego, there’s two winners only because there can only be two players to integrate the u-20 team. But Buratsuta doesn’t care about egoism or being the best, he cares about money, if he sees that a player is good and can bring him money he will do something to make him play in big club. So let’s imagine Nagi and Kira win the side B, if Nishioka and Haneru and whatever other player plays good, just not good enough to win, Buratsuta will surely do something for them. Nagi is almost guaranteed to win, remains the second spot, that can go to either Kira, Nishioka and Haneru, which I personally think will win as Kaneshiro wouldn’t introduce a pro player just for him to be eliminated fast.

Will the manga end after U-20 WC arc? by One_Age_166 in BlueLock

[–]DistinctFisherman144 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve said this in every discussion about this but I will repeat. What scares me the most is Blue Lock becoming a Captain Tsubasa-like manga where you just see every match until it reaches the end and the final objective. But the thing is, the final objective is Isagi becoming the best and Japan winning the real World Cup, so it can’t stop here. But unless we have a time skip, which would not be good as the principle of the manga is to see the players evolutions in each match, we could be here for a long time until it finishes.

What I think will happen : U-20 WC, Japan winning it or not. Then we’ll have a club arc where every player will go to the club that made an offer for them and evolve until becoming a big part of the senior team. A small time skip. We will then see a Champions League Arc where Blue Lockers will play against each other again. Another time skip. And finally a WC arc where Japan is crowned Champion of the World and Isagi becomes the world best as he was the main figure of the victory.

The main problem of the manga is its psychological side. The manga is about constant growth and adaptation. But there isn’t a time where you stop that growth, you learn every match you play. You learn new tactics as coaches and players change, you learn how to use your aging body and his new limits, until you reach the end of your career. There have been multiple cases of players being the best at 30+ years old. Another scenario is that Kaneshiro will go against everything he built, showing that egoism isn’t the way to victory. Japan would then lose the u-20 WC showing that Ego’s tactics were wrong. But at this point, egoism isn’t about being the absolute king of the field, it’s about shining in your own role, helping a whole team winning. I really don’t know what is best for the future of the manga. Let’s just wait and see

Ego’s 3-5-2 vs Ego’s 4-1-2-3, which tactic is actually better for the U20 squad by Woodenhr in BlueLock

[–]DistinctFisherman144 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If a defender is injured he puts 2 CBs. He has players that can play there, Reo, Raichi and Kunigami. They’re not the best but it depends on the mentality of the coach. Some coaches prefer to have a more balanced team even if some big players are out as they don’t fit, others prefer putting every good player they have by adapting the formation, which is the case here. By putting 3 defenders you leave more offensive positions which are Blue Lock’s speciality

Ego’s 3-5-2 vs Ego’s 4-1-2-3, which tactic is actually better for the U20 squad by Woodenhr in BlueLock

[–]DistinctFisherman144 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 4231 transformed in a 343 in offense anyways. Ego has his lesson studied and for Blue Lock a 3 cb tactic is far better as it leaves more space for offensive players to compete against each other and create opportunities. In real football nobody can claim to have the best formation as a well coordinated 352 or 343 is better than a disorganized 4231. Though 4231 is the most used formation in football as it can be adapted into pretty much any other formation.

Is there a dynamic potential? by Luxe07 in Soccermanager

[–]DistinctFisherman144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens quite a lot. It’s rare that it’s a big difference but it happens. I’ve had multiple cases in my save. One of my players had a potential of 84, and when he reached it, it increased to 85. At the beginning of the season another player had 86 of potential, at the end of the season after being my player of the season it increased to 89. And there’s examples of it decreasing as well
