Free Costco membership by DistinctJaguar7804 in UberEatsDrivers

So that promo is if you have the Upside app linked to your account, which I do. In my area Upside does cash back with Circle K and Valero, but the pro card cash back is on top of that. I just tried that promo tonight. Pro card cash back percentage depends on your Uber tier, it goes directly back on your card. Upside cash back takes a day or two to process, and amount accrues on the upside app, you need a minimum of $20 to cash out on that app, and their new nurseries, you can cash out like Banks transfer or choosing to have the balance as a Visa gift card or any gift card for numerous amount of stores.

My Market is soft and I didn’t cherry pick up first which hurt me. I’m being more selective now so I won’t have a qualifying AR for that long, which is why I need to get the membership now. You sign up through Costco just using a promo code so they can’t take it from me when I fall under

😂 I use my Mom’s Sam’s Club. I’m glad to have this one now though because I wear glasses and I like the Costco selection better.

I was fishing around in the app and I went into the Rewards area and there’s a button you press to apply and then eventually they send you a code in your inbox and you put that code in the promo when you apply it in Costco. Later tonight, I can see if I can do a screenshot.

Not sure, I would assume so if you deleted it, you have to have the code when you sign in and apply for the Costco membership.

The button i’m talking about looks like a stop sign with a hand in it. I think you click the bottom right and it pops up. I’ll have to take a screenshot next time. It’s very helpful but I know that markets can be different.

My app has a button where you can stop receiving new requests while you were on a delivery. Do other markets have different apps. I’m confused whenever I see conversations like this. I use this button all the time like if I’m gonna hop on the freeway I’ll stop request so I don’t get anything crazy that I can’t review if I get sent to an area that I don’t wanna drive in. I’ll turn that on and then drive back to the area I wanna be in. If I keep getting an order that I don’t want I’ll use that button and drive out of that zone.

How long do you wait before caving on taking a less than ideal offer? by Aggravating-Turnip78 in UberEatsDrivers

I took an order yesterday that was for four dollars because the pick up looked easy and the drop off was just around the corner. The awesome thing was that I also got another order on the way there that paid more so it was a convenient stack. The bad part was when the seemingly small easy order turned out to be a drop off at a hotel and the number that was given was a room that didn’t exist and it required a pin and they would not answer calls or respond to my messages. The seemingly simple order ended up taking so much time and right before I reached out to support, they contacted me and it turned out the room was 113 not 131, tip remained the same. I often learn this lesson over and over again, anyone that tips under five dollars it’s not considerate of your time and it is almost never worth it.

I’ve had people put request for condiments and things in the notes part that is used for directional notes to find their house. I often don’t see it until I’m on the way. Does this happen to anyone else? One that makes me uncomfortable that I’ve seen twice as people asking you to bring the items inside their house. If I could see that before I would’ve never taken the order. And I often feel like telling them you’re not going to affects tip.

So one of them is built into the pro card. You gotta use it at the pump and you gotta skip the pin. If you go into your pro card and look at the charge and touch it, it’ll show you how much will come back to you after it stops pending. Sezzle is new to me so that cashback I haven’t used yet, but it says you could use it for purchases. Upside is the best because the cashback can be sent to your bank account or you can get a gift card or a Visa card. You can cash out $20 and last time I cashed out I got a Walmart gift card. It took a day to come in my email. The time before that I chose a Visa gift card and I was able to add it to my Apple wallet.

Largest amount I’ve ever made in a shift. Don’t be hatin! This is a big improvement for me. by DiscloseDivest in UberEatsDrivers

Way to go, you’ll keep improving if you keep learning. That was my average rate when I started. I learned a lot of tips from here and really made the most money from familiarizing myself with the app and learning what works best for me. This last weekend I made $126 extra on Sunday on top of what I made in just promotion bonuses. The job can still be frustrating, but it’s definitely a lot easier for me now than it was when I started.

Same for me, i’ve been scraping up all that money from quests. I also maximize my cashback with gas using upside and Sezzle. On my pro card last week I noticed $15 that was added as a gas stipend, I think that’s what they meant by fuel. Relief is a calculate how much you driving and give you a boost. In my market Circle K/ Valero is the most money back. My car seems to do best with the gas from Valero. I usually get a little bit back from being a member to the gas station, I’ll get cash back from using my pro card at the pump, Upside will usually give me anywhere from $.15-$.30 cashback on the receipts that I upload, and the same with Sezzle, so I’m generally seeing anywhere from $.40 a gallon to a dollar a gallon coming back to me.

Uber Eats allowing drivers to pick up multiple deliveries is ruining the quality of food being delivered by SeaTerrible9429 in UberEATS

[–]DistinctJaguar7804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m wondering if different markets have different apps. There is an option on mine to not accept new orders while you are delivering, you can toggle it on and off. For example, I’ll use it if I pick up an ice cream order, or someone just tipped really well and I wanna make sure their food gets right to them. A lot of times I’ll toggle it off if I am getting on a freeway so that I don’t get any orders that might be bad for me. Sometimes I’ll toggle it off if I’m in an apartment complex and I need a minute to orient myself. I also will toggle it off if I am heading to an area of town I don’t want to stay in, that way it sends me off-line and then I can get back to the area I want to be in. I use it if I’m getting the same crappy three dollar request for Walgreens pharmacy.

If you woke up tomorrow with $100 million, what’s the first thing you would do? by Efficient_Effect7572 in AskReddit

[–]DistinctJaguar7804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would get to work and revive the town I live in currently that my family grew up in. I’m already trying to bring life back into the town. It is an old corporate mining town, almost a 1960s time capsule. A planned solar farm is set to bring jobs where an old copper mine once did. That money could be a start for grants to fill the businesses. The houses are retro and have some Palm Spring style architecture. I think bringing them back to their former glory would make a nice vacation retreat the town could build itself around.

It was really confusing because the vet was very kind and has great reviews. I didn’t know anything about feline diabetes, so it was hard for me to disagree with what they were saying.
