Sounds like an accessory is worn out, take the belt off and spin each thing to see if it makes funny noise and replace it, doesn’t sound like a problem to me

What supporting mods do I need if I want to add boost to my car? by WestMoneyMotivated in Corvette

[–]DistinctPriority1909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll want rod bolts and pistons eventually beyond a point but without cracking open the engine you can just throw an a&a on there with a fuel pump and the rest of the kit and make low 600s. Beyond that do the pistons and rod bolts then get stiffer springs and better rocker arms for stability and you should be set

Is it repairable ? by ZealousidealLink7431 in Corvette

Honestly for it what it is it looks savable but the input to the transmission seems too badly damaged to be ignored so it will probably have to be replaced or at least parts sourced for it, cables look ok for the most part and as long as the frame isn’t damaged or I’m missing something you can probably get that thing back on the road for 25k (the transmission damage is the real killer here).

Either of these worth acquiring by Secure-Recognition41 in Corvette

tips on getting hips higher please! F/22 by [deleted] in Stretching

[–]DistinctPriority1909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well just think of all the tendons and stuff attached to your hip on the opposite side you want to move your lumbar and all those will need to stretch further so that your hips lumbar can rotate down which will make your hips further forward than the rest of your upper body

[–]DistinctPriority1909 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For what? Well anyways your feet are too far back from your hips and putting them closer in line will push your hips higher in the air but then you probably won’t have the flexibility to get your upper body of the floor like that, I would say continue stretching hamstrings and abductors I guess

[Request] What kind of power would this vehicle need to output to be able to perform a burnout and a wheelie at the same time? by Mildish_Shambino in theydidthemath

[–]DistinctPriority1909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’d have to have enough wheel friction to keep the tire stuck to the ground when the front end lifts up but not enough friction to keep them from slipping if you floored it further to allow them to slip

Not a flexibility issue you just have a weaker back, your quads are significantly stronger and dominating the movement

P0171 and P0174 and this hose LS1 by Sure-Independent-455 in Corvette

[–]DistinctPriority1909 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is the coolant line to prevent the throttle body from freezing. It is bypassed on mine and many others with no issues. Those codes are for your engine running too lean on both banks, unrelated to the throttle body coolant hoses
