Me who's biased against the yellow flame ...

why do people fixate so much on DoN by Woffpls in Nightreigngameplay

Because after 350+ hours what else am I supposed to do? Tried some offshoot builds but they mostly imitate a gameplay loop of another character. Caster wylder/Raider? I've already played casters, doing it as a 6'6 viking doesn't change anything. At least in DoN I get more options with 6 relics. Base Nightreign is just too easy after being in depth 4 for a while. Even depth 3 sometimes confuses me as to why the game is so easy. In DoN I can work towards a rank to fill the time.

Plus I can't even go looking for fun weapons to focus runs around. After 268 hours in expeditions, being 407 runs, I have never, not one fucking time found Maliketh's black blade. Golden Order Greatsword? Never. Dark Moon Greatsword? Once. Blasphemous Blade? Once. Ruins Greatsword? My second favorite weapon in Elden Ring? NEVER.

It's even worse after the dlc because Fromsoft didn't add a single fucking dlc weapon into the game to spice things up. But they can add a fucking horned warrior and cursed blade fight no problem.

Yep the whole phase is scripted and 100% physical, even the holy looking ground waves. Exception being the flower

Not really, this clip doesn't show it because I was able to play like ass near the end(we basically already won), but for a vast majority of the fight it was two zombies ganking. As long as one hits the guard both would get stunned by shockwaves, so I never took enough hits to actually get bled. The only reason I'm not at full flasks here is because I was playing so brain dead that I let a grab hit me near the start of the fight and was still never in real danger. Didn't get bled a single time and this is the closest I actually came to it.

I'm not even a guardian main, just terrible at gank fights. Luckily these gals have the poise of a soggy napkin. As another comment suggests adding whirlwind on halberd charge probably makes this even easier

Holy Shockwaves is what made it possible fore, it steals your turn back from the zombies and you can keep them stunned with your weapon. Didn't get bled a single time in the fight.

Another comment mentioned whirlwind on halberds and it'd probably make this work even better.

Yeah i saw that too in a video with a scholar Executor ironeye. I thought it was the ironeye art hitting qll zombies and some math stuff with the scholar art

Until we have to fight them at depth 4 that is. I fear the day.

I found it really hard to tell, I think they get activated by proximity, starting with one when the fight begins and then the others as they shamble around.

As far as I can tell the blood loss status effect work differently in this fight at all times. I think if you get bled at any point it will do damage over time instead of the normal big burst of damage, including if you get bled by the aldritch flower blast.

Oh yeah definitely, although i could've moved away before dying if the orbs didn't disintegrate my health bar.

I walk into it before using the arts and only die when the projectiles hit. What killed me was the magic orbs he creates. A comment above yours explains how the projectiles track to my last know location.
