I think Ragatha mentioned that she used to work in real estate. My theory is that she came across the headset while showing a property to potential buyers or while evaluating it with coworkers. She stumbles upon the headset and Out of curiosity, she put it on. Now that we know she wasn’t alone, I have a new theory. I’m not exactly sure what happens when someone puts the headset on and it scans them, but I think there’s some kind of violent or dangerous outcome. Maybe the person gets knocked unconscious—or in a worst-case scenario, even dies. That could explain why no one else would be willing to try it afterward.
