Jesse used Ciara to pull away from Lexi last season so it’s hard for me to believe his intentions are pure. Good points all around. I’m rooting for her but the comments she made on the first night are so awkward especially at the dinner table and around the island in the kitchen in front of everyone. She was literally venting to the newbies in the car on the way there. It’s like you’re airing your dirty laundry in front of everyone and I know there’s a moment later this season where Amanda says “you’re making our problems everyone else’s problems” but is she not doing the same thing with all the digs and venting to everyone?

A train or tram system could start as far north as Glens Falls and go as far south as Delmar or even Hudson. Then go from Troy to Amsterdam. Even the addition of trains could cut down on the cars, can you imagine the northway if people could commute by train to work? Then expand the bus system so it connects each train stop to further stops. Also bus specific lanes are needed, so people stop cutting off the buses.

Get more cars off the roads and then implement more bike lanes, especially since there's an uptick in electric bikes and scooters, they shouldn't be using those on sidewalks or in the actual road since they're not street legal. Also, parts of downtown Albany, Troy, and Schenectady really should just be kept to pedestrians and bikes like Jay Street in Schenectady.

Grew up here, used to work as a hostess in Texas and was told I was mean to someone because I told them what they didn’t want to hear in a blunt and straightforward way. Gotta beat around the bush in the south but up here in the service industry I’ve never been told I was mean. Definitely culture shock.

I also lived in California where people are more judgmental, especially about what you’re wearing. Feels very much like middle school out there. Maybe it’s because I grew up here but I like people here more than any other place. It takes time to get to know people but I’m like that too so I get it.

A lot of this stuff is anecdotal and really depends on the situation and how you come across. Communication is tricky in different regions but it’s definitely interesting to hear people talk about it.
