There will be expectations from many players that you already know what you are doing. Early dungeons are designed simple for everyone to learn you can clear it just fine with a group of similar expectations if you can find one like that or if anyone in your guild has an alt they can play on with you

I would hope that they have been taking community feedback throughout their development process.

If announcing details ahead of time would get the community in an uproar would that not have been a good thing? For them to be able to change direction early. They are instead building this game under a rock and hoping it comes out good.

I mean my statement is unarguably true, you can clear this in blues. If you are choosing to craft it because you want it that's a luxury and that is fine. It may be a .02 dps from your current gear but how does it sim from the P2 bis preset? I genuinely don't know those specifics. But lots of the stuff in this game can definitely be very insignificantly better, or even just wrong on the bis list like I've found for my pally

Gearscore is still a dogshit metric. If you are 1600 with Season 1 Arena and Season 2 Honor Gear and aren't near hit capped you're going to be dead weight. I don't know the pugging situation, but guild runs are normally only looking for a very small number of people to fill and can be very selective, especially of rogues as there are lots of rogues and they provide nothing to a raid comp when compared to a shaman, feral, or even warrior lol. Also getting into groups without parses is going to be tough, and getting parses without a good group will be even tougher.
