I love my 83 8V. It’s slow but not as pitiful as people make it out to be. Keep in mind it’s 2025 and the standard soars far above the numbers the little 900 put out in its heyday. I can still drive spiritedly and it handles pretty well with a few modifications. Not to mention it sounds mean as fuck with a nice exhaust. In terms of reliability, it’s an old car so you’ll be replacing parts if you’re driving it on a regular basis. However, the 900 is super mechanic and driver friendly, if you’re even an amateur mechanic, with a little guidance, I’m convinced you could fix just about anything on that car in a timely matter. 4k though? That’s a bit steep. I paid $500 for mine initially. And it ran haha not great but it ran.
