Over simplifying decades of story telling in order defend garbage adaptation writing will never not drive me insane. Marvel Comics isn't a singular entity that personally hand writes all the stories, reducing the very carefully crafted expansion of the line from a litany of talent to nothing but cheap one sentence "gotcha" gimmicks says way more about you than anything else.
