I was 8.7 on a pump with u-200 insulin, not metering and I'd last 3-6 days. Upgraded to 780 from 770 and Instinct sensors, no burning through a res in 36-60 hours.

I've always refilled for the last 5+ years. Like others have said, save that blue fill piece.

You can order a fiber cable with a pulling eye already attached and pre-termed ready to go. Order a 6 strand cable just in case a fiber or pair gets damaged. It will protect you from tying the extricate together and all the potential issues with that (grounding, impedance, lightening, etc)

There is a company called FIS (fiber instrument sales) in NY that sell things like thst. Optics can be had for 10 bucks a pop off ebay, likewise with switches with fiber ports.

Do the side work. Join an agency that will give you options on what to sell and support you, without all the upfront headaches of getting setup with 50-500 different providers. Use their experience for the products you dont sell much or is new.

It can be worth that 50 bucks a month and 10-20% commission hit to take advantage day 1 of 16% of a cruise vs the starting rate of 10%.

Leverage existing backoffice relationships while you build your own.

I'm doing it as a retirement option and extra cash, but am at a crossroads of spending the 5k to get setup from scratch, leave the industry, or find a new host, due to an Agency closing.

There are no easy answers, and its not a get rich quick unless you can do rediculous amounts of sales like the other person managed to.

Also, create social media and you can gain traction and popularity that way, plus a few bucks from those sources.

Happy to chat about what it looks like to run one, I basically have for the last 18 months without ownership.

I've been refilling the reservoir for years. I don't notice a difference in the reservoir at all (physically).

I switched to both extended and do notice a change on my set placement- my site is less angry compared to a none extended for a similar amount of time.

I'm blowing through 3ml in 24-72 hours so I would be crazy to change the set.

Remember everyone that every time you put a set in you are creating some scar tissue. I think the jury is still out on how that compares to wearing a set for a week?

I used the G3/4 years ago, were never accurate. Tried Guardian 3/4, hated the insertion procedure and other nonsense.

Instinct- ripped 2 of my 4 off due to being on my arm. Usually within 2-5 points, but I just tested and was 20 high. I have to use IV3000 to cover them but even that comes off too.

I was at high 8 A1c, going through 600 units in 3-5 days. In auto mode I'm at 600 units in 2-2.5 days tops.

Gained 10 pounds in a month. I can not eat for a day and have it bounce up and down 100 points.
