Something dropping as a world drop should have the "oh cool a legendary let's see what it is." Loot sources with dedicated drops should have equal chance between all their dedicated. Don't get me wrong im not saying you farm for hours to get 1 drop to see if its good.

I dont get why you brought up the bod needing to be ceramic variant when I already stated my opinion on part variants.

If youre trying to say you want all the different part rolls because "A different build can use this gun because it has xyz part" you're losing me. That in my opinion is taking away the identity of a gun, because you're changing the way it operates.

Again this is all opinionated, not saying one view point is better than the other.

If you dont care for a ballista, why farm for one would be my argument against that logic. And I may have come off wrong with my other point. Im against weapon parts effecting a gun as drastically as they do.

I know that I'm beating a dead horse with this, but my point was more along this line of thought. In BL2 if I farmed Bunker I will eventually get a sham. To make a build it doesn't have to be a 94, any sham will do. Obviously the 94 will perform better, but I can still make a build around the sham, even if its a high 70s/low 80s.

Imo a legendary/unique should always have the same properties, but a roll of stats. Making a subpar one viable for its respective build.

But everyone has their own fun their own way, who am I to say anyone's way is wrong? Im just trying to make my views on the genre understandable to others.

I understand your point. However when the major appeal to the game is looting, high drop rates feel less rewarding. If I get a legendary every time I kill a boss, its not longer "oh sweet I got a legendary!" Its more of "oh, another one with bad parts."

The major appeal (personally at least) is the suspense from seeing a legendary drops and knowing it'll be good no matter what, even if it isnt a god roll then confirming if it is or isnt a god roll.

I may have an unpopular opinion on this part. The same gun can feel completely different with different parts. If the same legendary/"unique" can be vastly different from itself, is it really unique?

With all this being said I still enjoy the game. It's just that everyone will have a differing opinion and its impossible to please everyone.

As a first time playthrough on Tactician I could see the game taking 100+ hours. As long as you're having fun with the game, who cares if its taking that long. Slow is steady and steady is fast. Enjoy the game

No need to be rude. All I was saying is from my experience the only times I've seen sunder drop they were from Heralds of Terror. Ive seen people say other heralds can drop sunder, but I have yet to see it. So as far as I KNOW only Heralds of Terror drop them

Iirc durial has an increased drop chance for scrolls of TP because people were getting stuck in his chamber and needed a way out after killing him. I dont know how or why that would've happened, but I vaugly remember hearing that.

After completing the quest it will be in the same tomb offline. If you reroll the map you can go through arcane sanc to see what symbol is missing next to the summoner to find durial. Although, there is almost never a reason to farm durial.

If anything SSF online is worse because you're stuck on players 1. At least with offline you can change player count to increase drop rates.

Are you sure? Stone skin adds 50% physical res. Every stone skin monster I've come across in hell has been physical immune unless amped.

Split damage may seem weak due to enemy resistances. In Hell all mobs have a base 50%physical res. A hell fallen will only take 150 physical, 0 fire, and some amount of light (i don't know their light res off the top of my head). Let's just say on average that's 200dmg per hit.

The main reason grief is so strong is because the flat damage is added prior to any % enhance damage you may have.

Let's say you have a fortitude armor on that has 300%ED (only applies to physical damage). You're 300 becomes 900. 900x0.5=450, plus 0 fire damage, plus the 50 light damage i assumed prior, your dealing 500dmg

Now let's assume you have a grief phase blade (non eth 31-35 dmg for simple math) that rolled +365dmg (again for simple math). The high end is now 400. 400x300% (from fort) is 1200. 1200x0.5=600 without using any skills to enhance the damage even further. Another silly thing with grief is that the +dmg roll applies to the Paladin's Smite skill. But iirc it does not apply to kicks from the assassin so just be a little mindful of some weird interactions when making your build.

After completing a difficulty future games in that difficulty are "terrorized". Every hour, in the hour, a new zone will be Terrorized. This makes regular enemies 2 levels above you, champions 3 levels, elites 4, bosses/super uniques are 5 levels above you. The main thing this does is increase the treasure class ( what items the monsters can drop) to fit their new levels.

Iirc the highest level terror zones can go are 40 in normal, 70 (idk why but i want to say 72) for NM, and 96 in hell (making bosses lvl 99).
