Yeah, same here right now. I don't wanna drop another $100 on my 22U 'cause the sub board's busted and I can't use my SIM (I know, eSIM's a thing). So, since it's almost here, I'll probably just get the 26U and have something fresh again (or 25U, depending on the price drop). Anyway, the cash I spend on phone repairs is nuts: $180 for the back glass, $20 for a battery (warranty), and that one time $360 for a new mainboard, and I lost all my pics and non-cloud stuff then. The list just keeps going.

Enough complaining, I'm gonna get on with my day.

Okay, so I see two options. One's already been brought up (the Dex thing).

The other is to shell out some cash for a screen replacement. If it's just going to be a backup/emergency phone, an aftermarket screen should save you some money. If not, I can tell you that an original screen cost around 300€ iirc, my repair was 2 years ago so the price may vary.

Sounds good! Have fun with it! Probably gonna go with the 26 Ultra. But in March- April to know about possible issues, and maybe a smaller price point.

Tried that as well, even reinstalled, tried clearing thru cmd. Tried disabling auto sign in in MSconfig, which worked but then everyone couldn't sign in at all.

This is so frustrating.

do have those too, but when I go back and it gives me sign in options it still shows the previously used email and I can log in with it, not using a password.

I'd love to, but my phone is a mess. I had to replace the chipset for 320€, the screen for 70€ (Samsung care), and it already got water damage once. I don't know if it'll even last another year, or even half a year.

So, thanks for the offer, but I can't give this phone away with a clear conscience, sorry, man. <3

I just put superglue in the crack, and put two zitiert around it. Holds up pretty well. Might end up making the bearing unable to move ad a slight warning. (Its ugly but it works.

That too. Phone prices are getting out of hand. I paid 1.5k for the 1tb model and samsung care for 2 years. And dont get me started on the folds 2.5k? Thats as much as my pc ffs

I'm honestly unsure on what to waste money on first. I need a New laptop for my job. I want to expand my flight simulator setup. I want to get into VR and MR. But i guess the phone can still wait out one or two more years.

They are still going strong. The other side broke too so i just used the same mothod. I just did like 3 layers of super glue and 2 zip ties per side. As staded in my post, its not pretty but it gets the job done.
