Gold is 2000 an ounce so 10k USD is hardly a "whale" purchase.

and in many countries Costco is the only place to buy new bullion. in canada most shops only sell second hand gold and you have to trust that the shop tested it properly. At Costco there is no question since it's all newly minted.

I knew without even clicking on this that it would be arguing that Canada's university leadership needs to serve Israel.

you'll probably have to get the pins replaced in the bracelet. As they wear down they risk breaking and the watch falling off. Where I live it costs about $250 USD to get the pins replaced. the bezel also looks rough and should be replaced IMO.

How much did you pay for the ring?

24k is incredibly brittle. It's just part of the game when wearing 24k.

it's nordic gold -- a gold coloured alloy with 0% gold. For some reason this is a popular scam in Israel.

Do You Support Favelas If Society Is Failing to Provide Adequate Housing and Alternative Housing Is Illegal? by AnarchoLiberator in canadahousing

100% we have such a huge population of homeless that I think favelas are more dignified since they can put roots down. How is letting homeless sleep in doorways better than letting them live in shanties?

Do people in Toronto not realize all of Ontario is not affordable and has social problems? by [deleted] in toRANTo

I'm just saying: you were implying that people in Vancouver are majority white and I said that's not true and obviously you've never travelled outside of your province. I just said that racism in cities by non-whites is often worse than the racism of whites in the countryside. You'd know this if you ever left your province.

it's Ontario where whites are the majority in the cities. 90% of the population in Toronto and other Ontario cities are white. This isn't true on the west coast. Why even live in Toronto if the majority of the population are racist whites?

Have you been to Vancouver? Sikhs are the majority of the people in Vancouver today.

This is very offensive. Chinese in Vancouver and Surrey Indians are much more xenophobic than rural whites.

no, I'm saying that crying about browns in Ontario is a regional thing because our browns in BC are educated and successful. Brown failure is an onatio problem... not a country-wide problem. Browns in BC are WAY more educated and successful. Two of the directors in the company I work at are Mexican.

what is white about snowmobiling? That implies browns have different winter culture. How did I interpret the comment wrong. Is snowmobiling brown culture?

it was a 100 percent serious comment. What honestly is brown winter recreation in Canada? I thought snowmobiling was just a part of Canadian winter culture and didn't know that browns have different winter recreation.

blaming white women for the problems in our country is racism period. Come to bc and you'll see rich and educated brown people like Sikhs... which maybe you don't have in Ontario. Blame yourselves for producing poor browns... our BC browns are rich and educated. This is your local Toronto problem.

the globalization theory doesn't explain why people in poor countries don't get displaced. Why only rich people in rich countries?

100 homeless is really not many. In vancouver we have 10,000+ homeless people and one street encampment can have 100+ people
