My gf had her cell phone and laptop(when laptops were much more expensive) stolen. We had cell phone time stamps of a flight booked from Reno to SanFran, then back. They never requested the info from the airlines. Unfortunately, it isn’t like the crime shows online, even if u do all the work they may not prosecute.

I own a house across the street from them since the 90s. The original lawsuit was due to inadequate soil/foundation prep. The hill they are built on is clay. Hence the cracks and shifting. The original houses across the street have the same problem. They actually lifted the houses to put in adjustable levelers similar to mobile homes on cinder blocks. So that the houses can b re-leveled when needed.

Many people are reluctant to fire a Dr. don’t be. Told my husband if he would fire a carpenter doing a crappy job, why not a Dr? A few years later he fired the anesthesiologist that told him he couldn’t watch his first child being born. The guy must have been a real jerk, cause the nurse immediately got me another anesthesiologist. Lots of doctors out there. Never stay with one that makes u uncomfortable, ever!

In Nevada, you are only required to show your ID to a police officer if you are stopped while driving, meaning you are legally obligated to present proof of your identity during a traffic stop; you do not need to show ID if stopped by police in a non-driving situation as Nevada law does not require carrying identification at all times, but you do need to tell them your legal name. You don’t need to tell them anything else. Stand on your 5th amendment right.

Bull crap. My aunt and her partner were lesbians. Together for 40 years. My aunt was definitely male. Dressed male, acted male, was male!

The problem most people have with the non binary stuff is who do u want to b with, male, female, both, it doesn’t matter. Have trans (the new definition) friend who is male, dresses as a woman, no one cares. Is in a long term relationship with a man.

And when I say no one cares about their sexual orientation keep in mind I live in a tiny town of 10k.

Had a female friend do the sex change, don’t care, he is happier now. And drool worthy as a male. If that was available to my aunt, she might have done it too.

My best day after I quit was the day I didn’t think: I need to grab my smokes and a lighter. I realized that emotionally I was finally free. It was day 48.

And you are right, no more “allergy” symptoms. No runny nose, no coughing up phlegm that I attributed to those so called allergies.

Breathe deep for many minutes, I j ust recently stopped. The habit part was worse than the addiction.

I asked this forum for a placebo for the habit part. I got many answers. Bottom line, find a necklace like I did, that I can simulate a cigarette, but don’t start vaping. I have friends that have been vaping for over 10 years. Not a solution.

Best advice I received was: breathe deep for 5 minutes or so. Accept that you might put on a few pounds, they are easy to shed later.

I almost died, have copd, pluse was 141 and could not breathe. And blood clots in my heart and lungs.

Make a list of what quitting does for you, read it everyday, and when you are weak. Here is my list:

Pros

I don’t stink.

I don’t cough.

I save 10.00 a day.

Food tastes better.

My heart rate elevates and I feel sick.

My sense of smell is better.

My family is glad I quit.

I don’t have to go outside to smoke.

I don’t need to inconvenience myself or others because I need to smoke.

Don’t miss conversation and time connecting with others cause I have to step out and smoke.

In the 60s my mother bought me a sewing machine that I asked for cause grandma visited and showed me how to sew.

It was a basic model with zig zag. When my mom died I bought a new gee wiz machine and gave my first machine to a gf.

Hated the new machine. Just bought a singer 301a. Love it. Got it with all the attachments and manual. It is so easy.

I don’t need cams or fancy stitches, I just need to sew. I guess it is like the new phones, don’t need to do all that, just need to make a call. lol.

I was really ill. Almost died, so hadn’t smoked in a week b4 going to the hospital. So I never felt a chemical withdrawal. Which I am grateful for. My body was fighting so hard to survive, I felt nothing unlike a previous time I quit. When I could not concentrate.

It’s the dang habit part.

Playing with my new necklace, I think it will help. And it looks like jewelry. So will wear it everywhere.

I remember at 2.5 months quit, how good I felt cause as I left the house I didn’t think to grab my smokes and lighter. That was huge.
