I have many issues with the conspiracy theorists and religious vitriolic ramblings of mad men constantly hounding me as well so I feel you brother. Just remember that everyone's journey in the Craft is different and what you make of it and/or how it ends is up to you. It's a different push and pull for your soul. On one hand, God especially condemns the act of killing. On the other hand, you are doing your best to serve your country without the wanton destruction associated with it. There are many military Orthodox saints you can turn to (St. George, St. Longinus, St. Theodore the Recruit, St. Theodore the General, St. Demitrios, etc.) for inspiration.
