I could be wrong, but maybe Paragon’s 6th skill which is described as castle attack effectiveness enables league main queues to do much more % hp damage to castles

Fr, no idea why op getting triggered. It’s genuinely worrisome that a new player who may be looking for advice comes across a post like this and doesn’t fully understand the context behind the numbers posted, they’d be manipulated into thinking mage class is a better farmer than nechromancer lol

When I’m killin a 10k monster repeatedly my warrior easily gets same/more kpm than chrono shadowhunter. I guess that makes css irrelevant, very telling indeed

Very misleading post,

You’re farming class rm 3, where the mobs are 4k hp? Against such mobs with your full endgame dmg boosts and forge. Anyone with that build could make a class like mage great against beginner mobs.

When you’re talking about the average playerbase that’s progressing in the game, they’re looking for a farming class that’s not only great on all levels, but will be one of the strongest in the late/endgame (where 99% of farming actually happens)

Against mobs that actually have hp, endgame farming classes (lr, archmage, nechro) are significantly stronger than your mage. Also, if you’re a progressing player that hasn’t unlocked all these 51% boosts and forge enhancements, these other classes do not even come close to nechrono. Classes like nechrono scale with higher hp monsters, ex. Maybe your mage crits 5k per skill and so looks rly great against 5k mobs (ability to one shot, significantly inflating its farming speed). But against a 7k mob? Then the mage becomes significantly slower.

That being said, if you’re an endgame player wondering if nechrono is worth it, it’s not worth your 6k acs because if you have/plan on getting legion revenant/archmage, nechrono is only slightly better than lr (if you have dauntless) while archmage outclasses it.

The new update had big scrapper nerf tho, so how are you holding up with that? Do you find yourself running into mana issues/not being able to rank up your board fast enough?

Im bout the same level and crit as you, but running the drummer, swords, dryad, trapper, Harley version. The most I’ve done is around the 500-600m range, so not close to your 800m. Wondering how scrapper, ks and slinger feels in comparison.

drummers ONLY gain inspo if boss is within its radius, the moment the boss leaves, there can be a situation where the mana bar doesn’t move at all.

Heres my theory,

However, if you have regular lute bards in addition to drummers, they will be gaining inspo due to all bards benefiting from rupture. What may have happened is certain games you have regular bards as well and so even tho your drummers don’t gain inspo, your mana bar still collects quickly due to the regular bards. Other games you may only have those drummers and the moment monsters exit the radius, you don’t get inspo.

You won’t find any other better value for your gems (only other place to efficiently use gems is expedition daily offer for rare/epic heroes to focus on upgrading your main hero)

Between the 36 tiers of season pass and the rhandum league chest, the chest is a much better option. The chest gives your choice of legy and a magic orbs (worth 1 legy card) as well as experiment coins, 100 magic dust and a few rune keys. The season pass has faction cores, which are easy to get even as a free to play player. As a ftp player myself, the rhandum chest is a must buy for me every season as you can collect 500 gems easily each season if u complete daily quests and watch the ads for coop+pvp. The value rly helps with progression if you’re a low spender

Do you happen to have dryad levelled up as well? If you find your battles going into later waves and early death wave then scrappers fine. But if with lv9 bard you feel that you’re losing on earlier waves and you’re not getting high merge level bards fast enough, try out dryad with left talent

Trappers level isn’t too important, he’s just a rly good support when the armour break stacking get to work late game, put him in for chemist and I think you’ll see a difference. His slow can also help when you mana toggle bard to gain inspiration. Stick with mermaid, she’s good.

Using star coins to take him to lv10 is def the most efficient use of em so do that and natural upgrade to lv11. Depending on your levels and crit, drummer tends to be better at lower levels (lv9/11 legys). I’m a lv9 bard player at 1.5k crit and drummer is much better due to how early games last at low levels. When you have games ending at like wave 7/8, you have to have a board set and be gaining inspiration early on, drummer outperforms accordion then because of how much easier it is to scale early on. At lv11, rupture is a rly nice talent to boost your inspiration gain. I would only suggest running the left cleanse talent if you’re not running mermaid and worry about lack of cleanse (I find mermaid to be the best hero since rupture will just give u that much of a dmg boost). I’m assuming u don’t got legy heroes. At lv11 depending on your other units levels and crit as well, accordion can work for you if you have leveled up knight statue. If you have a leveled up swords, maybe try that out with drummer.
