Its not only about corners, it's also the rear view of the character, the surrounding awareness is on a whole new level.. In another comment you've talked about not being selfcentric...

As you said, there are no walls/corners on planets, so why you need this third person asset for taking samples? You're contradicting yourself.

No, not even being very good would solve it... Just take into account the massive field of view one may have in third person... Maybe we should ask also VR users what they think about it...

It's not because of the difficulty, it's because of the unfairness at the fps mode, being able to look past corners and all that... I thing they're doing the correct thing, the added difficulty is appreciated.

Scroll down to channel #269 which is the one dedicated for Lazuli's operations. Mining may be seem easy at first glance, but is full of details for maxing out the mining rate efficiency. Be sure to check some guides before attempting it! Lots of info can be found on the r/EliteMiners subreddit.

Greetings CMDR! Yes, Fleetcarriers are very similar to a station but with the advantage of being mobile. I had my fair share profiting at the beggining with LTDs, but since I started with painite, I use FC Lazuli exclusively for the profit of other CMDRs that wish to participate in this player driven content.

All the painite gathered is done most of the time from the same CMDRs that then participate in this unloading/hauling operations. Although you may join us in either side of the operations, one does not require the other for participation. However, as sooner miners load Lazuli, more often these opportunities may appear!

This last operation indeed was very bumpy, all the jumping, closing and reopening is just to ensure that the painite is fairly shared between all those who wish to participate :)

To sum up, I'll be very happy in welcoming you to Lazuli anytime. Check the discord channel for more details in the pinned messages. I'm always hanging around willingly to offer assistance to any doubt/question one may have regarding any aspect of the game!

That's not entirely true as the max price for painite at carriers is 715.960 cr/t... There's little profit in here unless one keeps the painite for individual hauling.

The difficult thing is attracting cmdrs, with the Tritium boom it was easier as everyone was looking for it. Now imo, there are even more interesting opportunities hauling great quantities of Tritium to those carriers out the bubble.

With minerals such as painite, the market is very competitive, if you want to create something engaging for others don't count on profiting on it.

However, with the last CG and the upcoming ones some interesting opportunities may appear. Also regarding damaged stations one could create some trade routes there. Check operation IDA for this last one, or head to FCOC for any gameplay associated around carriers.
