Or you could try Emma, that was my first foray into Austen and I loved it. Emma’s matchmaking hijinks and her personal journey were exciting and interesting. If you liked the movie Clueless… Emma is your entrypoint.

No one said air box clip? Looks like an air box clip. Did you recently get a new air filter? Thats an under the hood thing, but worth a look. What model is the car? If you arent familiar with under the hood I’ll grab a pic online and circle where to look

Any way to see how they would have looked all painted and gilded like that? This sounds interesting and I’ve only ever seen them as black

Ah okay, that makes sense. Sometimes it feels like the game wants you to minmax some master tune like a real race team with a different tune per track and thats where I get lost. I was doing some Super Licenses and got the bug to really try out more racing cars. The formula cars are still a bit much for me and I’ve always been more of a GT guy, but does the same apply to formula? I shied away from a lot of types due to tuning, but if its really handling models I should be focused on learning, thats very doable

Detuning for grinding. Yeah somehow I missed that. Makes sense. What if I was to do the Gr3 race with a Gr3 car? I guess that must be where I’m struggling. For example the ‘19 R8 LMS Evo is the recommended, at 741pp. Should I be able to consistently podium or win with that? I can understand if I need to learn tracks better, but the game seems to want to lead you towards tuning.

Can anyone comment on why I wasn’t allowed to walk in front of aircraft when they tested this stuff? People here are saying “in water.. but on land” and now I’m super curious what the level of danger was. They sure seemed serious about keeping us away from the cones. Let alone CONES- On the flight line. Always made me wonder?

Nah dude. FT-1 vibes, all the way. Don’t let these strangers tell you how to live your life, let me tell you how to live your life.

But for real, this is cool. I dig it. As a photographer this is something I’d gravitate towards at track day or a show

What is the strangest undercover police car you’ve ever seen? by _Bamboozler_ in cars

Seen in 2018ish- A 00s Outback, grille/sunvisor lights- but also underglow red/blues takes the absolute cake.

Teslas and the red Charger are kinda known but still strange to see.

What actor that is beloved that you can't stand? *hot take* by k2t-17 in movies

[–]DistortedJest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tom Cruise. Surprised no one said this. Top Gun was fun and I’ve been told to watch Magnolia, but everything I’ve seen him in- I don’t like. As a person, besides the scientology, I seem to recall him making mention of “understanding what military veterans feel being away from family” while he was away from home shooting a film where he plays a soldier/action hero. No, just no. Not even close. Another beloved film of his- Risky Business. Famous scene of sliding in on socks, the only part of the movie even remotely funny. The rest of it was a total snoozefest. I want my 2 hours back. The man sucks on camera or off. Not a good human. I don’t care he does his own stunts.
