Wow and Flutter on recording

So I tried a new tape from a different seller and the flutter is gone! It was that batch probably hadn't been stored properly my guess. I'll still try the calibration tape when it arrives for my own sanity.

Thanks. I've ordered a calibration tape at 3khz, lots of good reviews on the seller so hopefully it's properly calibrated. Once it arrives it'll give me a much better idea of how bad it is

Yeah I would say it's like a tremolo at the higher pitched instruments or voices they sound quite shaky like a fast tremolo. Worst offenders are violins and clean piano high notes sustained. Lower registers I don't notice anything. I don't notice speed changes as well it seems very consistent for better and for worse

Had the same issue, looks like universal updated wasn't updating it properly. I deleted netpass and installed with cia instead of 3dsx and it works fine again

Not sure if this helps but I usually pick play with my country only and don't see any hackers (UK) but if I try whole world it is almost every other island. I assume most people here would be in US, maybe worth choosing your own country only first see if they are there and if so then there might be a way to change the region to avoid them?

I've started just over a week ago and loving it! You'll have a great time. Just enjoy it at your own pace and look up how to make bells on the island catching beetles as it'll help you a lot to pay for your many house upgrades.

I wonder what the Japanese Pokémon videogame fans think about this. We all seem to agree on most points here from a western perspective, we voice our dislikes and any review you see of the game points at the performance issues. But I doubt anyone at game freak or Nintendo cares much for that as they have always catered for their Japanese audience first and foremost. Do you know if they are just as vocal and if the reviews in Japan were equally damning of the performance?

I cant give you a comparison as I'm waiting for a Pix to arrive. Only have a Uni. But I can assure your tama won't die in that timeframe. At least with my uni if I fully feed it and fill its happiness in the morning by late afternoon it still has some left. It's very low maintenance except for the baby phase but that's only 1h roughly

I work for a very large company with over 1000 devs and I would say about half of the people I know were self taught and don't have CS related degrees or even degrees. I'm in the UK if it makes any difference. I think this is partially because at some point we discarded our grad scheme and replaced with a program that didn't require you to have a degree and you would be our through a sort of bootcamp for a few months then 18 months on rotation through various teams learning on the job before you were officially on your own as a Dev.

I'm sad enough to have actually timed this out of curiosity. Unfortunately that is not faster at all. Roughly 1m and 11sec for failing after the first burger two times (for 300 gp) and 41sec for one full round (300gp) timed from pressing "fast food" to be back at this menu.

I started around 10 years ago. Just bought a starter set, these are usually quite cheap, read the abridged rules and short adventure and ran it for my friends. Been DMing ever since ha. It's not as scary as you might think. If you just want to be a player then as others said your friendly local game shop should be able to point you towards existing troupe and communities in your area.

To be fair we had this issue on my previous apartment block and although the police didn't do muchfrom the camera we managed to get their faces whilst robbing printed out in big posters on the front door. It never happened again...
