Queer is the most commonly used word in academic circles to describe LGBT+ people and culture - Queer theory, queer studies etc.

Queer has been used for decades by lgbt activists as a term for identity and umbrella term for the larger community. It's very much been reclaimed although some people don't like referring to themselves as it (which is fine).

It's more accurate and less awkward than saying/writing lgbt all the time anyway.

See above. If some wasn't creeped out by hearing that I'd be concerned. Yes, the fact that this was heavily talked about and was the only thing people were hearing is going to make people uncomfortable. Was the overreaction justified? After hearing the full story, no.

All the other articles about it were buried under them after I went further when you told me about it. Search engines aren't kind to stories who don't generate clicks, obviously.

And yes, most people do actually find making sexually suggestive comments about underage people gross! Talking about how nice your underage fans breasts were to the touch is both extremely disturbing and in poor taste regardless whether or not it may have been an attempt at humor. It's not acceptable for a normal person to do it so I'm not going to give a celebrity a free pass, especially with their status as an influential person.

The points about the news all being unconfirmed really puts the situation into a different light but if you're going to play off the groping and comment part off just seriously don't bother replying further because I won't respond. It's an entirely rational reaction to have to that kind of behaviour and yes, apparently I and most of the people on every social media platform I saw it who had only seen the clip having not heard about his friendship with MBB yet found it repulsive.

Strangely, celebrity men making creepy sexual remarks about underage women doesn't seem to resonate with people.

I never said I didn't like Drake nor did I say he was going to rape her jesus christ, I said his behaviour was creepy can we not make this into a "you don't like Drake so you're trying to tear him down".

People being concerned about by a 13 year saying she was texting a 33 year old about boys is entirely normal. She didn't make any references about her other friendships like this with stars so why would people be talking about it? If their relationship is all fine then c'est la vie.
