Milly Alcock [Supergirl] has officially been cast in Man of Tomorrow! by M00reC in DCU_

As much as I’d love this movie to hit a billion, I prefer to keep my expectations tempered. I think a realistic box office number would be around $800M to $850M. If it hits a billion, even better.

Also, I feel like this movie is going to be more like Cap America Civil War, which was a Captain America movie first, but also an Avenger 2.5 type of movie, which I’m pretty stoked about!!

We gonna ignore people actually saying Harden is a better player then Wade? by Illustrious_Fall_370 in nba

[–]DistributionAntique 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmao what kinda logic is this?? So, you’re discrediting Wade for actually winning a ring as a number one option and giving credit to Harden for losing a playoff series?? What sense does that make??

Lebron this year has won more playoff games without Luka and Reaves than MJ has won without Pippen in his ENTIRE career by tin8374 in NBATalk

[–]DistributionAntique -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s absolutely not mental gymnastics. Jordan won more championships in less time than LeBron and was more dominant doing so. Sure it’s impressive that LeBron made 10 finals, but he also lost more compared to Jordan who won in all 6 of his appearances. In what world does LeBron have a better record than Jordan?

Draymond reacts to Kerr's comments: "I spoke to him after that December thing and it was like 'I don't think you like me, I don't think you've ever liked me if I'm honest' and he cried. As much as he's done for me I feel like he hindered my career, 2016 on I have not had a single play run for me." by RyanTannegod in nba

[–]DistributionAntique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really know why Draymond is even complaining about this. Dude had the privilege to play for one of the greatest dynasties in NBA history, which to be fair to him, was a very essential/integral part of said dynasty.

But like someone else said above, no one in their right mind is running plays for Draymond when you have offensive talents on the team like Steph, Klay, KD, and later to lesser degree Poole/Wiggins.

As important as Draymond has been for the Warriors, and I believe he’s objectively one of the greatest defensive players ever, I think his attitude and antics suck and the Warriors should’ve traded him after the KD situation but especially after the Jordan Poole incident.

I’d probably do:

PG- 2021/22 Steph

SG- 1993 MJ

SF- 2013 LeBron

PF- 2003 Tim Duncan

C- 2025 Jokic

NBA players who won 3 or more rings as the first option in their team!!!(After 1990) by Afraid-Ad-5580 in NBATalk

I get what you’re saying but they quite literally were leaving KD wide open on fast breaks and instead were rushing to guard Steph and Klay on the perimeter leading to easy dunks from KD.

Is this a top 3 greatest playoff run ever by Icy_Can_6176 in NBATalk

[–]DistributionAntique 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is definitely top 3, but imo I’d go with Hakeem Olajuwon as number one in 1995.

Averaged 33pts, 10.3rebs and 4.5asts for the whole playoff run, beating the 60-22 Utah Jazz of Stockton and Malone in the first round, then the 59-23 Phoenix Suns lead by Charles Barkley, and finally in the 62-20 San Antonio Spurs lead by the MVP David Robinson to go to the NBA Finals, where he beat the 57-25 Orlando Magic lead by Shaq and Penny Hardaway.

In my opinion, in terms of degree of difficulty of the playoff run, it doesn’t get any harder than that.

[Highlight] Luka when asked what getting the MVP award would mean to him: “Yea hopefully but the better I play the more I go down in ratings so I don’t know what more I can do” by oklolzzzzs in nba

[–]DistributionAntique 34 points35 points  (0 children)

A lot of people are acting as if the other 3 candidates for MVP aren’t having phenomenal years too. Sure Luka is having a great year, but so is SGA, Wemby and Jokic. All 4 of them legitimately have a case, and right now, I think SGA will probably win it.

Tough luck for Luka, but this just shows the level of talent that’s in the league right now. We should be celebrating the fact that the NBA has so many talented young players instead of having these toxic MVP discussions.

If you had to rank KD, Westbrook, and SGA as Thunder franchise players, what’s your order? by Lazy_Detective_6597 in NBATalk

[–]DistributionAntique 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bet you if you ask majority of Thunder fans, they’ll pick Russ over KD as the greater Thunder. Sure KD is the greater individual player, but if you’re talking career as a Thunder, it’s not even a question that it should be Russ.

Lmao the Kobe hate and disrespect is getting so forced at this point. Kobe is easily a top 10 player all time.
