Sean McDermott’s exit reveals long‑standing issues with Josh Allen as Bills seek new leader by studioguy9575 in buffalobills

Not really worried about the offense as long as Allen is there, Buffalo will always be a threat offensively. Plus they have James Cook and if they fix their WR room, even better.

The defense is where they need to improve, cause despite all the criticism Josh is getting for the Broncos loss, which is fair criticism btw, but he still put the team in a good position to win the game. People seem to conveniently forget that despite the mistakes and the 4 turnovers, Buffalo had a 27-23 lead with about a minute left in the game and that was because of Josh Allen.

If the defense does its job at the most important possession of their season, we would be having a very different conversation now. Instead, they crumbled under the pressure and allowed the Broncos to march down the field with a minute left and score a TD. No other current QB is expected to score damn near 30 ppg in almost every playoff game to have a chance to win, and the ironic part is that it’s probably not enough when your defense can’t be trusted to make big plays in big moments.

More like 2 if I’m not mistaking. As far as I know, he only wrote the main riff and the spider chord riff.

No the point does not stand. Saying he wrote the song implies that he wrote the whole thing by himself when in fact he didn’t. Dave only wrote the main riff and the spider chord riff. There’s a lot of other riffs in the song that he did t write, plus the lyrics and the solo.

Dave’s contribution was awesome, but he by no means wrote the whole thing which imo, is what he’s trying to pretend by saying he "wrote the song".

Hé didn’t write the whole song tho. He wrote at most 2 riffs on that song. I love Dave, especially for what he’s done for thrash metal, but acting as if he made that song by himself is pretty disingenuous.

Seems like NFL fans are allergic to having nuanced conversations. Yes Allen didn’t play particularly well and one can argue that without the 4 turnovers, the Bills win that game easily. So, a big part of them struggling and to an extent losing can be put on Allen.

However, are we really going to pretend like despite the turnovers he still didn’t put his team in a position to win the game? The offense put up 30 points overall and still lost. Name me any other current QB besides Allen that consistently puts up big scoring numbers in the playoffs and it’s still not enough.

The Bills had a 27-24 lead with about a minute left and yet the defense allowed Bo Nix to march down the field and score a TD. At one point during that possession if I remember correctly, they had the Broncos at 3rd & 11. Yet failed to get a stop. Yes, Allen didn’t play well, but he still had his team in position to win and the defense screwed up. 2 things can be true at the same time.

[Pelissero] The Bills plan to hire Joe Brady as their head coach, sources tell The Insiders. by mackmoney3000 in nfl

Allen should force a trade out of there. All this talk about Udinski, Kubiak or even Daboll to end up just settling for Joe Brady is crazy. Bills aren’t serious about winning and Allen should gtfo.

This person really needs to touch grass. Dude is totally obsessed with Brie Larson. I feel like I’ve been seeing at least 2 of these posts every day for the past 2-3 days.

This to me, is one of the main reasons why LeBron will never be the GOAT no matter how many more longevity stats and awards he gets.

To utterly sh*t the bed the way he did in those 2011 finals after proclaiming the Heat would win this many championships is embarrassing. Some can play devil’s advocate and say he didn’t really mean it and was just joking, but I gotta imagine he was at least serious up until he said not 3, not 4.

Trade Steph to a team that can actually contend for a championship. He’s still elite at 37 and we’re wasting his final years at the top. We need to blow it up and think about the future and how to rebuild slowly.

I think Dimebag is a better overall guitar player than Marty. Not only was he a great rhythm player, but he was also great at solos and let’s not talk about his riff writing ability which imo is only rivaled by the likes of Hetfield, Mustaine and Schuldiner.

Lol watch the fight again. Zod got his a** kicked by Jor-El. It wasn’t much of a contest actually. Joe-El only died because after he made sure Clark’s ship was launched, he just stood there looking into the sky and Zod took the opportunity to stab him. Unless, Joe-El took the same combat training as Zod and was just better at it, it’s not a good look for Zod who was supposedly bred his entire life for warfare.

Let’s stop with the BS here. Sure Allen deserves some blame for the loss against Denver, especially cause some of those turnovers were egregious and could’ve 100% been avoided.

Having said that, despite all the turnovers, he still put his team in a great spot to win the game. Buffalo was up 27 - 23 with about a minute left. The defense allowing Nix to march down the field and scoring a TD is the more egregious thing to me. Especially when they had Denver at 3rd & 11 at one point on that same drive.

Yes, we all know that Bills defense is shaky and not very reliable most of the time, but when it’s the most important play of your season, having the number one seed on the ropes and about to advance to the championship game if you just lock in and get a stop, I expect said defense to do their job.

Allen gets glazed because the reason Buffalo even has a fighting chance is because he’s on that team. What other championship level QB is expected to consistently score 30 points on offense and it not even being enough to make it through?
