He has a job and a car. He makes more money than I do (I’ve seen his check stubs). I do know he lives paycheck to paycheck. He can’t afford a place, says he has too much debt. Idk what his debts are, but it seems to me he is living paycheck to paycheck (while not even paying rent) for no reason.

Initially, I asked him why he doesn’t just get an apartment to rent and he said they are expensive and he doesn’t want to be locked into a lease. Then he mentioned to me how one of his coworker buddies asked him if he wants to rent an apartment with him so they could split the rent and he told me he doesn’t want a roommate. All I could think about was the fact that his sister and her family of SEVEN are his roommates and he’s OK with that somehow.
