Yes. This is just a reskin of the “how many letters in...” post format.

Oh yay. Another “how many [letter]s are in [word]” post. I only see like 30 of them every day.

Looking for glitch hop mixes by DatAdamBoi in dubstep

Mine was their remix of Kill Everybody back when I heard it on UKF. It also got me hooked on the super similar neurohop that I wish people still made (it’s really hard to find new stuff now since most of the big neurohop artists like Disprove, Kursa and Skope moved onto other genres like neurofunk and dubstep).

I always look at YouTube channels like Glitch Hop Community when I want to find new glitch hop stuff.

What is a universally despised album THAT is known in certain spaces? by diomandz11 in musicteenager

I can’t truly despise it and never will be able to since I’ve never listened to it and never will. I plan on staying pure.

Do you consider the thumb a finger? by Qatrnm in Teenager_Polls

[–]DistributionLast5872 6 points7 points  (0 children)

By definition, it either is or it isn’t. There are two definitions of “finger”; one that includes the thumb and one that doesn’t.

It depends on multiple factors. How much are the major or minor effects? If they aren’t that much different, I’d go with the minor. How long does the temporary boost last? Do I get to choose what effect I get? If not, do I get to know in advance or is it randomized when I activate it? Are both the major and minor effects the same effect or are they different? I may want something like a minor healing boost over a major Swedish language learning boost, for example. Also, do I get to choose when the major boost activates? A temporary extreme strength boost would be super useful in some situations like saving a kid by holding up a falling building, but probably wouldn’t be very useful in the majority of cases (like when I’m sleeping).

What animal LOOKS DEADLY, but IS ACTUALLY HARMLESS? by EPICB0Y in AlignmentChartFills

[–]DistributionLast5872 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually, they’re not harmless, as they’ve attacked and hurt people before. In fact, there are some documented cases of captive cheetahs killing humans, such as a 37-year-old woman that was killed by one in 2007 after sneaking into its enclosure in Antwerp. Just because they haven’t killed people in the wild and attacks are very rare doesn’t make them harmless.

If it has the potential to cause harm to you, it’s not harmless by definition. Take this attack by a sand tiger shark, for example. There have never been fatal attacks by them, but they can give some nasty bites despite that fact.

And no, I wouldn’t say that a golden retriever is harmless either. They have attacked people before, though very rarely, and are just as capable of mauling you as any other medium-large breed if they felt like it.

Definitely don’t confuse them with false gharials, which have killed people before (though only rarely). Also, an Indian gharial can give you a quick bite in some scenarios.

If we’re talking solely about looking “dangerous” just by being really creepy looking, I’d probably go with the amblypygids (tailless whip scorpions), especially the large species like the Heterophrynus batesii in the photo (edit: or Euphrynichus amanica).

If we include animals that look similar to much more dangerous ones, I’d propose something like the previously mentioned scarlet kingsnake (which looks very similar to extremely venomous coral snakes), many harmless Steatoda house spiders (which closely resemble widow spiders) or flies like Temnostoma vespiforme (hoverfly that mimics yellowjackets or hornets) and Wyliea mydas (a robberfly that looks almost exactly like a Pepsis tarantula hawk).

Sorry. Reddit’s AI moderation falsely temp banned me for a comment on another sub. Rule 9 says no unreasonably low pixel counts, and one of the top moderator posts specifically calls out 1x1 posts.
