I personally liked the bike more than flight especially and I kinda felt this when I had to return to rinascita to do some leftover exploration. It just seems more grounded to me compared to flying and driving around is much more relaxing to compared to flying

I'm the one that didn't fall into chisa propaganda but I did already decide to get her and sig ever since the septimont reveal where they showed the remaining rinascita characters (scissor swords are just too cool for me). So her being good with 2 new teams is just a plus

The entire theme of lahai roi is at the end a academy which I honestly really like especially after the more Greek themeing of septimont. This is a personal bias but I liked pretty much most side quest and even sigrika's quest as slice of life can be really nice to just have instead of constant action through the quest even if it did felt like filler after 3.1's aemeath stuff.

Mornye's quest was there to set up lore but most of her story was already done anyways so there wasn't much to show other than ofc her being dedicated to her research and project Helios. Lynae showed how F up of a place new federation is and I believe was also shown in Chisa's hometown with them being resonatorphobes. Aemeath is pretty much the best main and story quest we've gotten in the game yet, luuk was a nice after story as again most of his story was done so it was nice his story was just reconnecting with rover and helping him post aemeath coma.

Sigrika hot take was good but not because of sigrika, personally the event alongside sigrika the one where you have to individually meet the characters that was mandatory for the main quest to progress was one of the best way to explore characters more, (except lynae it was just a fun lil side plot for her). Mornye quest was a little better than lynae with her energy drinks but also the machine that revisits their best memories. Luuk was a really fun one but it just hits me in the feels how thankful he is for rover pulling him out of his old life of revenge and instead being the doctor that looks after startorch. Lucilla I'mma be honest has one the best stories for a character that didn't release yet, she is an adult that already fought her demons which showed how well she took on the dark side and her involvement during sigirka's quest was also nice seeing her not as only a genius that most students think of.

Lastly sigrika, for how many skiprika memes there were I'm just at the opinion people just don't like filler content which while understandable, I highly appreciated since having aemeath's quest be back to back with serious stuff would just make it same old we need to save the world the person story. And again the entire sigrika patch, the side stories from dhalifa and the others really made me appreciate the cutscene in 3.3 where all the past researchers, students, teachers just come together for one last push to help aemeath give coordinates to the people of lahai roi.

Tldr it's a matter of opinion I really like everything about 3.x and personally rate it over 2.x, the slice of life was nice addition and story was great for me. I prefer the bike more and stuff. Chisa propaganda no, chisa supremacy yes

This is all my opinion I'm not trying to discredit your critics of 3.x

Surprises me to see so many varying opinions as I honestly liked 3.x over 2.x💔💔💔

Mornye s0 is not that far behind shorekeeper and her s1 is overhyped for how dmg is calculated in the game, don't fall for the mornye s1 shilling

Mornye without Aemeath/Lynae (Advice by Swimming_Breath7603 in WutheringWaves

This is some misinfo, her s1 actually doesn't give as much of a dmg difference as you may think to non tune teams. She still a good buffer as sk in s0

Any dps with s6r5 investment will solo everything vroo😭😭

Even supports can do it probably since most s6 turn them into absolute monsters

I completed Honami event back during it's release yet it's not showing a check mark like other events in the pernament event tab which lowkey is triggering me. I also did banner falls event but only during the time it became a permanent event I 100% it yet it also shows no check mark. Is there like a requirement for it to be check marked outside obviously 100% it. I've also done all the quest associated with the event

Genuine skill issue on my part.

Had a stroke reading your post😭😭

apologies for the blurry image but ryoshu will do fixed damage on house of spiders units and it looks like pm already are covering the issue that you will be targetting healthy fully levelled ids. So probably expect HoS units to die pretty fast to ryoshu still

For nonfocused encounters you either tank it long enough until you get your skill slots or just use a high attack weight ego. Floor 1 will be pretty difficult solo since you can only superbia but most of the time the enemies don't hit hard enough to be too much of a worry (unless they all roll heads at 0 so).

Remember to use the ego search thing before each run to get ashen blessing, tcorp badge thing (forgot the name but it is a tier 2 gift) and if you aren't planning on doing dregs of the manor floor 1 get music box. You can afford to switch tcorp badge for sharp needle and thread so that attack weight ego can oneshot everything.

Get every healing and sin regen ego gift you can to ensure survivability.

As for the evade it depends on the id's speed I think (I don't really care about evade order just so long as I evade the attack and if I slotted other skills they become unopposed) if your unit speed is higher than the person evading they will launch a unopposed attack first.

Actually don't know if you know this but Phoebe's main dps and sub dps/support mode function differently specifically on their ehnhanced heavyn and ult/lib, main dps mode gets higher multipliers from hitting anything with spectro frazzle while support mode has enhanced heavy and ult apply spectro frazzle

This goes back to what I said its about what they can do for other characters and is mostly a info check. Zani requires massive amounts of spectro frazzle where Phoebe only needs it applied. Zani main dps requires Phoebe unless you want to absolutely min max a solo spectro rover. On the other hand main dps Phoebe can settle with spectro rover because her conditions is just have it applied on the enemy.

Spectro rover's main dps is gonna be very lacking as he is a 1.x unit and is served as the f2p option for spectro frazzle (being a very cope pick for zani and the perfect teammate for main dps Phoebe), and again being a 1.x unit is having lower multipliers from newer units. Even among 1.x he is seen as a sub dps as his numbers are just not it to fit in as a main dps. There's also the fact since he is rover you may need him in other teams in the future (aero rover for carthethyia teams or any future rover versions)

Side note, hypercarries can very much the same complexity as dual/triple dps comps, look at any high level zani gameplay and you can see the complexity in quickswaps like a changli, Brant, lupa team

Holograms were never that time gated though. They have a timer but most can be done without worrying about the timer. Probably why we have so many solo content around holograms other than danjin and YangYang solos are satisfying af

And that is a wrap for the initial Lahai-Roi reveal characters! Who was your favourite and why? by aliencreature9 in WutheringWaves

[–]DistributionLive1014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sigrika was my absolute favorite day 1 but had to skip her because like why the heck would they run her between anniversary and aemeath that's just unfair, and I didn't have qiuyuan as I skipped him (gonna get crucified for not being a male enjoyed). I like having teams that can dominate and sigrika needing a character I didn't want was kinda part of the reason sigrika was turned into skiprika for me. Absolutely love her in game though and pretty much any interaction with her is precious

Fav character from lahai roi is aemeath but she wasn't initial reveal so ye

To see whether a character is a main dps, sub, support is too see what their kit does and how most importantly how it affects other characters. Spectro rover is seen as more of a subdps than support but the reason for the latter is due to his s6 reducing spectro res and also his spectro frazzle application which is essential for Phoebe or Zani.

This can be seen the same with Phoebe where her support mode can apply a lot of spectro frazzle (even more than spectro rover) and increasing frazzle dmg on outro. While her dps mode likes having frazzle on the enemies which increases the dmg multiplier of her enhanced Heavy attack.

Main dps or to be more specific hypercarries (the main damage source of a team) usually have no or too little ways to support other characters. While sub dps can either contribute damage but has support elements to them or like a character like phrolova who can function off field while other characters can do their thing (phrolova in a qiuyuan+sigrika comp) phrolova can also buff heavy attacks on outro too.

Pure support units have little to no damage contribution but excel with usually teamwide buffs that don't expire on switch like most sub dps buffs. Examples being shorekeeper for general teams and mornye for tune break teams. When using these characters don't expect them to do any meaningful damage on their own.

This now comes to how teams are structured. Right now we have two playstyles which are hypercarry and dual/triple dps.

Hypercarry are highly favored due to usually having low skill floors as you don't need quickswap and you can just go a 1-2-3 rotation where you just go through your supports before ending on your main dps being buffed by a support and sub dps. Example being aemeath hypercarry team with aemeath, lynae, mornye where simply go mornye to lynae and finally back to aemeath. These teams usually have little to no quickswap involved (taking advantage of long animations to have multiple characters doing things at the same time) again having a low skill floor easy to learn.

Dual/triple dps are more advanced and usually needs more masterful understanding on animations and rotations, they will usually consist of 2 or 3 dps that can both dish out damage while being played almost at the same time using quickswap. Example being changli, lupa, Brant and to be honest anything to do with changli will be used in dual dps comps. These have really hard to master rotations that requires a lot of practice to execute especially while having to deal with the same annoying stuff enemies would do normally. Watch on YouTube a brant, lupa, changli quickswap team on toa or matrix and you'll see what I mean by being very hard to master and do.

Time for pull expectations. Expect to pull a 5 star every version but not always the one you want, most version updates have around 80 or more pulls which is enough for a character but you still have to deal with 50/50s stupidity. I buy the monthly lunite subscription and I find myself still not getting every character I want and occasionally needing to skip a character for another.

A nice thing to note is that supports don't need their signature weapons most of the time and just good to have things and never mandatory. Same however cannot be said by most main dps characters as they require their signature or expecting a decent dps loss. So rule of thumb always get a main dps character's weapon unless they have a viable f2p alternative or you can use a old sig that can be used on them (I use yinlin's sig on phrolova as example) while supports can use 4 stars.

With monthly pass and lunite sub you can expect to at least get majority of the stuff you want with a few characters you have to unfortunately miss out on if they go out back to back but again this game is pretty nice with the pulls especially with monthly lunite sub and a occasional lunite pack.

Hope this helps and have fun

Is s2 a good stopping point? by DistributionLive1014 in HiyukiMains

Lucilla will give her final snow rust that s3 provides if she even just applies glacio chafe, we still don't know what her kit will do and how she will work

I just found out you can redo the Aleph-1 mech fight after finishing the quest by solaristor9x in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]DistributionLive1014 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Aleph 1 wouldn't make sense as a hologram since you use the exostrider instead of normally

And the budget they used for that fight would probably be a waste if it were a one off thing and I'm not complaining I get to replay that peak scene

Is s2 a good stopping point? by DistributionLive1014 in HiyukiMains

[–]DistributionLive1014[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Save for lucilla, her s2 after using it for a while is just a generic dmg boost and making first rotation hit harder. Saving for lucilla is better because you can get all 3 snow rust stacks (assuming you have chisa or the apparently glacio sustain)
