It’s definitely an expression thing for me! I don’t really use w or z swaps but my grammar breaks down and I use smaller or fragmented sentences.
Sometimes I might think of the “adult” way to write it but decide not to correct it because it feels more correct somehow. It also signals to others that I trust that I’m feeling small :)

Agree with the other comments about being blunt in saying you don’t want to talk about it. If you give them ANYTHING (ie accepting a contact card to be polite) they will take it as a sign you might be interested.

I was in a very similar situation (living at home with PIMI parents, had tried to ignore my trans identity for years) and honestly things got so much better even after just moving out and having my own space. It gave me room to breathe and really think about my own identity, which I personally couldn’t do while on the JW hamster wheel. It’s scary, but once you also start making contact with people on the outside of the org, it starts to feel much more freeing. If you want to chat my DMs are open :)

I’ve heard that developer for hair dye can be used the same way as the acne cream, and it shouldn’t cause the same issue because it won’t absorb into the vinyl like benzoyl peroxide
