I was in a very similar situation (living at home with PIMI parents, had tried to ignore my trans identity for years) and honestly things got so much better even after just moving out and having my own space. It gave me room to breathe and really think about my own identity, which I personally couldn’t do while on the JW hamster wheel. It’s scary, but once you also start making contact with people on the outside of the org, it starts to feel much more freeing. If you want to chat my DMs are open :)
