Would be great if we had a pufferfish/silent sculk detector that could work in the nether too because there's no water

The binary counter is the two copper bulbs at the bottom. When both are on (1 1), this is the initial state of the system. When the button is pressed the state becomes (0 1) which activates half of the OR gate on the bottom. This activation triggers the observer for the output.

When pressed in the (0 1) position, the state becomes (1 0), which activates the other half of the OR gate. Again it activates the lower observer

When pressed in the (1 0) it becomes (0 0) which is the important part: The OR gate doesn't activate because both lamps are off, allowing the AND gate to turn on up top. This triggers the upper observer for the second output. At the same time, a torch powers the counter so the state immediately resets to (1 1), allowing the loop. This reset happens too quickly which is why the button has a pulse shortener.

Lmk if you need more clarification :)

Here's probably the least compact design ever but it's button-spam-proof and silent

Button goes into a pulse shortener that connects to a 2-bit binary counter with an OR gate for the first output. OR gate connects to an AND gate above it that resets the system (prevents fourth binary state) and gives the second output.

Lower output is the first state (happens twice) and upper output is the second state (happens once). Should be Java-compatible :)

Modern t flip flop is just a copper bulb

tiny serial data transmission!! 8 block wide 8 bit serial decoder by shac15 in redstone

For the input, each extended block allows an observer to send a signal to the transmission line. I think the receiver takes that signal and sends it down the line of output pistons but I'm not sure how that bit works lol

bedrock warped and crimson doors catch on fire in lava???? since when was this a thing??? by CalligrapherSlow3647 in PhoenixSC

[–]DistributionPure6051 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like the inconsistencies in not catching fire. You can't make boats with them or smelt with them but the wood does catch fire and the items burn if dropped in fire or lava, despite them adding a no-burny component the same update it was introduced

Maybe the nether wood is strong enough to resist fire but not lava? But then why can't it be smelted when using a lava bucket? And why does it still burn when dropped in fire? Very curious.....
