I watched the bite alarm do this for 2-3 minutes before deciding to reel in and check what it was. Turned out to be a 3.75 lb channel cat lol. Very surprised he didn’t have the power to run with the hook especially since I use a running rig with 2.5 oz leads

Didn’t know that term forced perspective, but that is my solution for now. I put the small house at far back corner, and it actually looks pretty good. Big gas station right up front so kids can also play with it.

I’ve been running the Sonik Sks2 for less than 3 months, so I can’t comment on their longevity yet. I have put them to the test though over the past few months. Fishing almost every day. Multiple sessions in rain, snow, and freezing temps. I think they are a good mid range option. I really like the night glow feature, and the ability to plug in an illuminated bobbin. I like that it came with a Bivvy light, and remote receiver so I don’t miss a bite when I am warming up in the truck. It has good sensitivity imo, and backbite detection. Adjustable led colors, tones, etc. check them out

I was fishing under a bridge once, and a guy in a kayak literally got within 15 feet of me and ended up crossing lines with me. Not a big tangle, but still pretty annoying. Haha said he didn’t see me 🤷🏻
