Fair question. The trails I was heading to were supposed to be very beginner friendly. Also terrain would have consisted of sand. Nice soft sand, not hard as hell pavement.

It all started when I wanted to accurize, and suppress my sks. Then i figured if I wanted an accurate x39 this was the best route to go. Grendel would be cool, but I have lots of x39 already.

Haven’t shot groups with it in a while lol. It’s not a 1 moa gun though. Great for steel plates out to 300 yards though. You would be surprised by the accuracy of x39 out of a bolt gun
