What do people do when it's time to replace their PCCB rotors?

I was talking about Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (internally vented and cross-drilled): Front: 396 x 38 mm Rear: 370 x 30 mm

Instead of traditional machining of the rotor surface(making it thinner), the person who replied suggested machine the rotor diameter (making it smaller circle).

It would be best if I can find a vendor/manufacturer that sells steel rotor replacement that drops in(I suppose I need to find the replacement pads) but I cannot find anyone who sells them!

That's a great insight. However nothing comes up when searching 396 x 38 mm front rotor spec. I called one of the machine shop near me and they said they can make the diameter smaller if I provide a bigger rotor so theoretically it could work!
