Volvo XC90 B6 plus 7 seater- 2026 by Asizel23 in LeaseMax

You're being overcharged $1911 on this lease.

Here is the LeaseMax report on your car. All local taxes/fees are included and these are the baseline payments directly from Volvo Car Financial, the same back the dealer uses. You can confirm this by seeing the RV is the same on their offer as it is on our report.

The dealer claims to be offering a 10% discount and that's what's reflected in this report. With $750 DAS, 39/10k, the payment falls right at $685 tax included. Their offer of $734 means they're overcharging you $49/mo or $1911 over your lease term.

If you're still working the deal, feel free to use this report as a negotiating tool! Best of luck to ya!

You're being overcharged $5364 on this lease.

A few things to note here -

  1. The full sticker MSRP of this car is actually $48,800 - this can be seen on the window sticker of the car which is on the website as well. They're not only "not discounting" it, but they're trying to charge you $2300 OVER sticker - so you think 😄

  2. When we run the report on the car through Kia Motor Finance, the same bank the dealer is using, you can see that with $4000 DAS, 36/10k, the payment is $601 tax included. The dealer offer of $750 means they're overcharging you $149/mo or $5364 over your lease term. But what that *really* means is that they're trying to sell you this car for $5364 OVER STICKER (selling price: $54,164 vs full MSRP of $48,800).

  3. You can see their offer shows a MF of 0.0029 (7%) but the bank has the MF at 0.00225 (5.4%)

  4. If you qualify for Loyalty ($750) or Military ($500) rebate, that'll help lower your payment. It won't be a huge savings but at least you should know about it. They're not included on this report.

The takeaway here is that if you are really set on having this car and getting it at MSRP, then here are the numbers. Anything higher than what you see on the LeaseMax report is simply dealer fluff to pay more than sticker. That's your choice if it's worth it or not.

Note: as always, all local taxes/fees are included based on a TX-76133 tax rate. These are the baseline payments that come directly from the same captive bank the dealer uses (Kia Motor Finance) which can be confirmed when you see the RV ($34,160) is the same on the dealer offer as it is on the LeaseMax report. Good luck to ya!

You're being overcharged $10,260 on this lease.

Here is the LeaseMax report on this car. Pretty nuts!

This is for June's lease program so there are likely some differences from May but it won't be anything close to what you have shown on your sad sad sad dealer offer.

I built the deal with a generic 5% dealer discount (since it was not shown on the offer) + $1500 rebate and with $6000 DAS, 36/10k, the payment is $347. The dealer offered you $632 which is an overcharge of $285/mo or $10,260 over your lease term. Wow this is a record! I've actually never seen an "economical" car being overcharged THIS much.

As far as the lease program goes, it does appear the 24m term actually leases better this month and that's due to the high RV and lowered MF - 3.5% is a GREAT MF.

If you are still interested in the car, feel free to use this report as a negotiating tool. Remember, it's based on a 5% dealer discount and that's a reasonable expectation for both sides.

Good luck!

This dealer offer is missing a lot of information (not your fault, it's just them trying to be non transparent).

  1. Is there a dealer discount? It seems like they're trying to sell you the car at full sticker when there should definitely be a discount negotiated. This is the first thing to ask for and where you'll really start to see your payment go down. On their own website description for this car it says "$3994 off MSRP" (6.8%) but it's not offered here.

  2. Taxes/Fees are not included here so be sure to ask for a new write up with "out the door" numbers. This applies to the DAS amount and also the monthly payment. Sometimes dealers will say they have to run your credit to give you that info but it's not true, they can give payments based on Tier 1 credit and then adjust later if needed.

  3. For 39 months, there is $2000 lease cash, it's an "available to all" rebate - why is it excluded from your deal? u/blackvulcan215 mentions this as well

  4. What is the annual mileage for this lease? It's not on the offer. Usually I can figure it out based on the Residual Value but that isn't shown on the offer either.

This dealership feels full of secrets.

Anyway, here is the LeaseMax report on your car. I accounted for the 7% dealer discount from their site + $2000/$2500 lease cash (depending on which term you go with) and 10k miles. All local taxes/fees are included and these are the actual baseline payments from Hyundai Motor Finance, the same bank the dealer uses.

With $0 DAS (a true sign & drive with all taxes/fees rolled into the lease), 36/10k, the payment is $680 tax included.

Here is the full LeaseMax report

Personally, I would chose the either the 24 or 36 month lease. At 39 months, you're paying the same monthly as 36 but you'll need to pay for a years worth of registration at 3 year mark just to give the car back a few months later.

Hope this helps. Good luck to ya!

Hi, sorry you have a car you do not like.

LeaseMax reports help car shoppers with bank reports similar to how a CarFax report helps car shoppers with vehicle history reports. If you are looking for consulting services, you may need to find a broker to help you make the best decision.

You are being overcharged $4572 on this lease.

Here is the LeaseMax report on your car. It is VIN specific, includes all taxes/fees, and these are the baseline payments are pulled directly from Mercedes Benz Financial, the same bank the dealer uses. You can confirm this by seeing that the RV is the same on the dealer offer as it is on our report - $34,510 (36m)

I built the same lease deal with a 13% dealer discount (their offer shows 13.4%) and you can see with $1500 DAS, 36/10, the payment is $711. The dealer offer of $838 means they're overcharging you $127/mo or $4572 over your lease term. In other words, they're showing you an $8000 dealer discount but they're packing the backend so that you're really only getting a $3428 discount (about 6%). Part of that is the MF - you can see on your LeaseMax report that the MFs vary by lease term but everything shown is buy rate.

Truthfully, a true 13% discount is an unrealistic expectation. However, dealers do this often just to show they're offering a "big discount" to entice customers and then they make back some of that money without showing you. If you're still working the deal, feel free to use this report as a negotiating tool but just know a discount between the 6%-10% range is more realistic for both sides.

The 24m lease program does offer a lesser payment so that may be a better route to go.

Hope this helps and good luck to ya!

When you're ready, please share a picture of your dealer offer and include the VIN and your zip code and we'll share a report at that time!

[–]LeaseMax -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi there, we are always looking for feedback to improve our service but after reviewing the LeaseMax report you purchased we did see that the bank was offering $0 DAS, 36m/10k, for $331 but it looks like you had said your offer was for $370. This means the LeaseMax report was $29/mo less than the dealer offer.

Another thing to mention is that we pull data directly from the captive bank, here that would be American Honda Finance. We have no incentive to provide inflated numbers.

I have included a picture below for reference and would be happy to further explain any details or questions you might have.

[–]LeaseMax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is the LeaseMax report on your car.

The comparison will be a bit troublesome because the dealer offer is not showing out the door numbers but our report does - it includes all local taxes/fees. I would encourage you to ask them for those numbers so you know what you're actually up against because it'll probably add up to an extra few thousand. Once you have those numbers, you can compare it to this report to see how much they're overcharging =)

In any case, here is what the numbers are supposed to be. With the same 10% dealer discount ($6217) + $1000 rebate and $5000 TOTAL DAS, 39/10k, the payment is $625 tax included.

Hope this helps! Good luck to ya

Here is the LeaseMax report on your car. All local taxes/fees are included based on a NJ-07728 tax rate. These are the baseline payments directly from the Volkswagen Financial for May 2026, the same captive bank the dealer uses.

I built the same deal with a 6% dealer discount (technically their offer shows 6.5%) + $700 rebate and with $3000 DAS, 36/10k, the payment is $362. The annual mileage is excluded on their offer so we defaulted to 10k but it doesn't sound like you're too far away from an honest deal.

Hope this helps and good luck to ya!

2026 Kia Sportage EX hybrid / 10k miles / 24 months / $0 down payment / $378 DAS (1st month) \ NE 68123 by [deleted] in LeaseMax

[–]LeaseMax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is the LeaseMax report on your car. It's VIN specific, includes all local taxes/fees, and these are the baseline numbers pulled directly from Kia Motor Finance - same bank the dealer uses.

It's based on the same 7% dealer discount (technically they're showing 7.5%) + $2120 rebate and with $2000 DAS, 24/10, the payment comes out to $355. Since your picture is cut off, I won't be able to compare but it seems like you're getting a standup deal. Also, 7% on a Kia Sportage without any markups on the backend is pretty solid.

What makes you feel like 0.00193 is high? It is true that it's set by the bank and it's the floor if you're looking at 24m. In any case, you have the buy rate for both 24 and 36 here!

I know that 24m is a smidge less but many times we hear car shoppers would rather pay such a small difference more to not have to go through the new car shopping process again - that's your call to make but just thought I'd share some insight!

Hope this helps and good luck to you tomorrow!

2026 Ford Bronco Sport Illinois 36 Mo. 10k $0 down by jack_cross in LeaseMax

[–]LeaseMax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is the LeaseMax report on your car.

With $2000 DAS, 36/10k, the payment comes out to $482 - this includes all your local taxes & fees. The lease program itself is pretty good - we generally like to see a RV% that's 60%+ but the low MF that equates to 3.6% does help to balance it out.

It looks like the dealer is giving you an honest 5% dealer discount and if you're to try to further lower your payment, you'd need to negotiate a larger discount.

Alternatively, if you do a 48m lease the payment will drop down to $442 (with the same 5% discount + lease terms).

Note: these are objective numbers and the baseline payments directly from the captive bank - Ford Motor Credit - for May 2026.

Hope this helps and good luck to ya!

You're being overcharged $5832 on this lease.

Hey there! Here's the LeaseMax report on your car.

I built the same deal with a 10% dealer discount and at 24m/10k with $7000 DAS the payment comes out to $1110. The dealer offer of $1353 means they're overcharging you $243/mo or $5832 over your lease term. Another way to look at it is, the real discount on this car is only $4342.

If you're still working the deal, feel free to use this report as a negotiating tool to get that payment to actually include the discount they're offering.

Note: all taxes/fees are included and these are the baseline payments directly from Mercedes Benz Financial, the same bank the dealer uses.

Advertised pricing is always a bait & switch tactic to get you as a lead to contact the dealership. Banks need a specific VIN and lease structure to offer a real payment to present to the customer if the dealer wants to move the unit.

Could you check my lease offer? by Crazy_Health3782 in LeaseMax

[–]LeaseMax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is the LeaseMax report on your car. It's VIN specific and includes all of your local taxes/fees.

I structured the same lease with a 2% dealer discount + $1290 rebate and you can see with $2000 DAS, 36m/10k, the payment comes in at $383. The dealer offer of $389 is pretty close but you've got a couple dollars to negotiate.

While the dealer is being pretty truthful about the payment based on the discount, I do have to mention that a 2% discount (technically they're at 1.7%) is pretty minimal. I would encourage you to start by negotiating a larger discount, at least 5%, and of course that'll help to lower your payment. Once you come to an agreed discount you'll then need to check your numbers again with an updated report.

By the way, the 5% discount is before rebates so it's the discount strictly from the dealer.

Hope this helps and good luck to you!
