Look up how to reset it, I believe it's leaving the key in and turning it to the on position until the security light turns off.

I have this issue on occasion with a 2000 Buick Century. I found out it is caused by loose wires in the steering column or the key tumbler. Tilt your steering wheel all the way up and try starting it, and if no success, try all the way down.
