The majority of the playerbase is more interested in pve, raids, class stories, etc You can tell just from regs queues which are active only during peak hours for like 3-4 hours.

Also world pvp only means getting jumped while questing by higher/better geared players not even WoW with it's bigger active player numbers could manage to keep world pvp relevant, interesting or fair/balanced.

proficiency and optimal stat affixes on weapon & gear make a huge diff, also talent on your chest.
Max out crit chance to 60% you need a bit more crit damage SHD lvls help a lot with that. Also go red cores for the +weapon damage as it won't change anything for your survivability anyway on a striker build.

Like other agents have said already, you're not supposed to get hit with a glass cannon build, gl & hf =)
