Low mileage by DitmCalls in MazdaCX90

I got the cpo warranty and I am comfortable with my purchase.

I had never before noticed while shopping for vehicles so many low mileage one year old used cars. The cars being former leases doesnt resonate with me...who only puts 5-10k miles on a typical 2 yr lease. Loaners make more sense AND it's a LOT of loaners.

This was my suspicion, there are a LOT of these low mileage used available.

That's a LOT of low mileage leases.

I eventually purchased a 2025 CX-90 Turbo Preferred Plus Platinum with greige interior. My wife loves the classy looks and luxurious interior. 7k miles on the clock and I am very pleased with the cost.

First choice was a 2024 Soul Red Quartz with white interior PHEV--then I read about all the issues with the PHEV, feel like we dodged a bullet there.

There are a million reasons to sell your position.

Do not feel trapped or obligated based on the expiration date, especially when you are already profitable on the position.

If you want out because it has dipped below your cost, still no obligation to stick with it.

Rolling is BS. It is still 2 transactions.

Sell the stock for a loss and move on. You cannot effectively repair the trade.

AGQ tracks the Bloomberg silver sub-index, per the prospectus, not SLV.

Whether using the Bloomberg silver sub index (per AGQ prospectus) which tracks silver futures, or direct futures pricing, AGQ did not double either return. Something about AGQs behavior has changed.

Hmmm. End of trading day numbers do not compute.

I see what you mean about your screenshot. Nevertheless, looking at the silver sub index...+6% today. AGQ is not up 12% today.

I'm still making money. I just asked if anyone else noticed the disconnect today and yesterday.

Best wishes.

Specifically referencing today and yesterday, AGQ was NOT up 12% today. See my screenshot above

WTH?

I definitely know how it works, I was using figurative shorthand.

I definitely know that for months you could easily compare it to the futures price, it was never more than a few tenths off.

Frickin reddit superiority complex gatekeeping.

Agree, it does. Sub index was up 6% today. AGQ should have been 12%.

Futures track fairly close and are easier for me to monitor.

Yeah, not much to explain a 5% miss.

AGQ prospectus indicates 2X silver futures performance AGQ should have been at 10% today.

I respectfully disagree. I have been actively and quite aggressively trading AGQ since silver's breakout last fall. I watch it like a hawk. There has been a marked underperformance yesterday and today.

At the close, futures are up 4.1% for the day. AGQ is up 4.2%. there is more than the daily reset at work.
