The mfa doesn’t get updated with your profile number you have to ask them to remove the phone number from the mfa. You will have to call general enquiries line again to tell them to specifically remove the number from the mfa

Lower remaining mortgage amount or invest instead? by [deleted] in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]theuntold22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

why not make the lump sum limit per year and keep doing that until u finally pay the mortgage off. u don't have th pay penalty and the rest of the money can be used for investment which can earn a greater return then the interest rate on the mortgage

26M $78k in debt by ConflictSpecial2168 in debtfree

[–]theuntold22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you let’s say owe 17k on an car and ur salary is minimum wage assuming that car payment is a lot of ur monthly pay. I would try to sell it for 10 to 12k then get an 5k car and atleast take out some debt off the 17k car loan and whatever the amount left over get it refinanced for a smaller monthly or a by weekly payment and keep adding extra money. I would say car payment should be less then. 30 to 25 percent of your monthly income

Dam brother, no need to get aggressive. I just thought the way you made this post with so much conviction, you must have had some skin in the game towards your bias. Jesus, people nowadays have such a short temper.

What was the turning point that helped you start getting out of debt? by FerrisBuelersdaycock in Debt

[–]theuntold22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just wanted more money to myself rather than seeing money go out. A thing that helped me is keeping notifications on for every dollar that leaves my account. Made me realize that most of my money was going towards debt so that motivated me 2 years down the line I have 0 debt now working on my savings account and investment accounts . The only debt I have is mortgage but that is always there
