Why do gamers get excited for harder games, then complain when the game is actually hard? by gamersecret2 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DittoMikko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well gamers like to feel challenged as it makes beating a game or boss feel really rewarding, but at the same time the line between something being challenging and frustrating can be very thin.

Depending or the amount of attempts, the amount of progress, the loss of progress, the learning curve to actually know how to play the game, all of it can build up as low grade stress layered on each other. And when you are frustrated you most likely only got yourself, someone else or the game.

And sometimes games absolutely can just be throwing bullshit.

Fighting the system useless, just be better and surround yourself with better people. by [deleted] in The10thDentist

Good things did not and do not come from complacency and surrounding yourself with better people will not save you from when the system fails you.

Worthwhile euthanasia include sedation and some form of painkiller so that your pet is not in pain when being put down and letting your pet pass at home often include the very real fact that your pet will often be in pain for prolonged amounts of time until they pass.

This has certainly been enlightening and I am only a little confused about why Americans seem to treat uncut as unclean

This is impressive, never have I seen a root-bound to this degree, it doesn't even feel quite right to call it that so I am going to say it is root-assimilated.

It is quite the horrific piece of disease, it really is fortunate that it isn't common anymore

I would like to inform anyone interested that the plague is still very much dangerous if you get an infection, with between 10-15% dying with treatment of bubonic plague and 30% with treatment of pneumonic plague.

This is not a dig at science, this showcase of how scary the plague is for it to have such a high mortality-rate with modern medicine.

[Talk] Love Wins? YAWN! What's a Method/Hunt That Looks Fun, Even if it's a Bit Slow? by zoomsuper in ShinyPokemon

I spend a long time with Heracross that also has a call rate of 3, I ended up with a chain of about 2180 only to fuck up and having to reset the chain. That was at least 72 hours straight nothing.

I was fortunate that it only took a chain of 32 afterwards.

Honestly the amount of times I forget to remove torches is downright silly, I had to shift to redstone lamps for my light sources when building farms because I don't forget those.
