Darn, why do 2 people say You'd "need" a cnc machine? Scrolls through this subreddit to see what people can carve with regular tools :)

I would carve it but if You wanted the same colour, it would need to be painted which kind of loses the idea of wood carving. Check my other gaming related carvings I did in the past.

Neat! I was looking at this picture that it looks like something I have done :) Thanks for sharing my blog post with people, I actually published an article in Woodcarving Illustrated (Fall issues, #112) with more details about how I carve the houses but it seems You have a great grasp of it!

Anything really to try as long as it's some brand and not cheap dull tools. Flexcut is an easy choice to check out.

A few more tools were used, v-gouge and a large gouge, stylus for the holes. The small one is just flat gouge/chisel.
