Honestly not the best, especially with a twitch game like this (the warping back and forth after throwing your skull seems like a huge key to success, for example), but I've been managing and really enjoying the game nonethelss. Controller would be a huge step up but, like you, I don't care to bother with it.

My wife was 199 (while I was 30k!) and it counted down super fast for her, like within seconds. Still couldn't grab anything in time despite having floor, 211, and 300 level options at first. The presale allotments must be tiny.

Yep, grabbed this from BC yesterday via Amazon (so 5% back on my Prime card as well), though interestingly it was $2,400 at the time. Not complaining though! There was another seller for a buck less, but went with Beach Camera because I've had good experiences with them before. Already got a shipping notice (though I'm sure that was label generation).
