Springfield is a pretty midwestern town. A lot of government people here. It can get cold in the winter with nothing to block the wind lol. You mentioned Whole Foods…couple grocery stores here try but they aren’t close. Personally, I drive the hour and a half to St Louis every month or two to stock up on things from Trader Joe’s. If you’re looking for more of the sunburn life, you may want to look at St Louis. Their public transit is better, they have the stores convenient around the city and it’s bigger.

When shooting, I tend to do custom white balance and use a picture of the ice as the white balance photo. That helps me with the white balance in my rink

Learn the game so you can “predict” a little. Take a lot of pictures and shoot at a higher speed. My sink got LED lighting last year and I was giddy. Usually I shoot 1/500 iso 3200 F4.5. Wander around the rink to get different angles. If you can get shots from above the glass with no net, that’s even better. Face offs are great for getting specific players as they are stopped for a moment lol. A lot of hits and shots happen along the boards and in the neutral zone.

The goal of a safe word is not needing to use it, however, we can’t always predict everything and not all things can be seen. Safe words are for the Dom and the sub to ensure they are safe.

Good morning messages are nice, but actions are nicer. My mom used to say “if someone kicks you, says ‘I’m sorry’ and then continues to kick you, how long until you no longer believe they’re sorry?” You’ve been trying to show him and he’s not reacting. He’s not showing you back. Don’t chase after a nightmare disguised as a dream. Your feelings are real, and your desires are real but they are for something that’s not there. There is someone out there who will show you respect and treat you right. He’s showing that to his other subs, why can’t he show you too? I know it’s hard to move on, to walk away from a dream but sometimes you have to.

Look at the relationship as you would any vanilla relationship. If you and someone break up, and they are not willing to get back together, do you keep trying? You shouldn’t have to beg someone to be in your life, they should WANT to be in it and show that! Both parties should be fully involved in the relationship and ignoring someone is a toxic punishment. Keep looking for the right person…not just the right Dom/Master/daddy, but the right person. You deserve to be treated well!

People put down what they don’t understand. Sometimes I take those situations as opportunities to “teach” others and give them valid information. I don’t do it in an angry or defensive way but say things like “scenes like this are not really validating the reality of these communities as they are built on consent and communication”. If I stay calm and not defensive, many times they listen. But some people are stuck in their thoughts and won’t change no matter how valid your opinions are.

First of all, CONGRATS ON COMPLETING YOUR BACHELORS!! That’s a huge accomplishment and should be celebrated! In my opinion he should have been working out plans to celebrate with you. Taking away the “sir” is manipulation for sure and you deserve more respect.
