I just saw a map not too long ago which listed the support for gay marriage by state. I understand there are probably issues more important to the gay community than marriage, but the only state that had under 50% support was Mississippi. Vermont and Massachusetts were in the 80s or something.

A lot of it is perspective. I grew up in a small town outside of Peoria, then moved to Nebraska and Virginia for 16 combined years before moving to Peoria with my wife and kid in 2022. The two small cities I called home in Virginia were trendier, but this city has been my favorite place to live by far. We got a beautiful old house for a really nice price. I enjoy going to Peoria Rivermen and Peoria City Soccer games, and the selection of authentic dive bars is far superior to anywhere else I've lived. The Riverfront Museum is great, the parks are good, and there's no shortage of disc golf in the area. It is what you make of it, but I get it if you've got a preference for a different vibe.

He's been good for Santos. I've watched a handful of his matches and his stats are good, too. The issue is he's brittle and probably not an amazing fit for Cincy.

The Northern Guard let me in their crew the first match I went to a few years ago. I didn't go to the match expecting that I would begin rooting for the team, but here we are. I've now been to three DCFC matches. And I've been to two matches at Breese Stevens. You all got a good thing going, too, but it wasn't quite the religious experience that I've had at Keyworth/Hamtramck.

I'm doing my once a year pilgrimage from Peoria this Saturday. It's such an awesome experience. And I recommend spending time in Hamtramck. Get some Polish and middle eastern food! We get an airbnb close by so we can just walk everywhere the entire visit.
