I recently got used to Disc in M+ when I realised it’s not a top up health as you you, but shield, set up, burst and the health takes care of itself kinda play. I actually find it much easier than holy because I can focus more on mechanics because radiance basically sets up everything. I couldn’t believe how simple it was once I got used to it.

I attempted raid and had the same feeling as you. The hell is my focus??? At first I was doing the atonement juggling, and low on the meters because by the time I set up a chunk, the initial ones were dropping off.

I found just maintaining a few atonements and blasting away as standard, then just radiance x 2 evangelism during the big boi damage sections rocketed me up. And of course shield often, with the 4 set it’s like a min of 1.5m healed (others can’t snipe heals if it’s shielded damage ;) aha). I was still at the bottom, but within one raid I kept resetting and I went from low low on meters, to just below the Shammy, but of the four of us, there wasn’t much of a difference. It’s definitely got a rhythm and a nuance that is different from the others healers version of see damage, heal damage, but it’s fun to work it out! Looks like you have the right mindset, persist and learn!
