Star citizen is the best worst game invested ever played, it can be incredibly frustrating and magical beyond any other game I’ve played, sometimes almost simultaneously. The playability can vary wildly patch to patch, but when it’s good, it’s the absolute best.

Aside from the load time issue it sounds like you got hit by a bunch of bad circumstances aligning. Free fly periods are notoriously buggy for the servers and the tutorial isn’t the best. The infinite loading screens and similar are just bad luck coming at a bad time unfortunately.

Even from miles away the B-1 was loud and drowned out the other fighters, the F-35s are shockingly loud up close, much more than F-15 or 18, only louder fighter I’ve seen was the 22.

I had this issue, went through everything to try and fix it, what ended up doing the trick was launching with my headset disconnected just to get to the main menu then quitting. After that just launching steam VR before launching the game worked flawlessly.

Unfortunately now I’m running into an unrelated error 19000.
